I’ve hesitated to write a review because I’m biased in favor of Iowa Legendary Rye. Although I’m not a huge whiskey fan I absolutely love Iowa Legendary Rye because it’s so smooth and I swear I never get a headache or any type of a hangover from it. Stopped in for a tour on Friday and sampling. Was really glad that we were not on a timeline as Rich has some great stories to tell of the history of the area, and they would have been worth the stop on their own. As good as they were, the rye topped them all. The un-aged was unbelievably smooth, and wow does it mix well. The aged rye is going to be my new sipping favorite. More...

Finally had the opportunity to sample Ia. Legendary Rye. The White (not aged on charred barrels) has a smooth finish & makes a fine start for cocktails, adding a subtle nudge from the rye. A Bloody Mary tastes bolder & lighter flavored drinks, like pink- or Your choice of lemonades also gain definition, with out having the flavor over powered. The barrel aged Whiskey was not fully matured as of this writing, but the early samples promises a libation well worth the wait. I'll have Mine neat. More...
