We appreciate the friendly service. Lasagna was good, Caesar salad was good and the regular pizza was good. Unfortunately, this time the drinks were a disappointment. I did not get my martini the way I asked for it and 2 others at the table were not impressed with their cocktails either. Our dinner was excellent as always. We love going to Il Mito however the noise is a bit much. Also, the tables are very, very close together and it was very hard for my husband to get comfortable.

A delightful dining experience, as always! Luis was our server and he is simply awesome, attending to every detail with grace and a smile, and the food was divine. My husband and I both had specials (he the shrimp pasta and me the salmon with a modified side of parmesan polenta rather than the crab pilaf due to my shellfish allergy), and they were outstanding. I loved the ambiance as soon as we walked in... so cozy and romantic! My husband ordered the bolognese and I had the seasonal pumpkin ravioli. .. both were delicious. Il Mito does not disappoint. I've eaten here several times and had a good experience each time. First, I love the atmosphere. It has a really cosy vibe with the dim lighting. I've been here when the restaurant is full and busy, and never felt like the wait for a table, or drinks or food took long. The bruschetta is very tasty-it's 3 pretty big pieces that can easily be cut in half to share. The split-pea soup is phenomenal! I absolutely love it and it's beautifully presented. Pasta dishes and pizza are all good, as are the various nightly specials. I have a difficult time choosing an entree because everything is so good. They have a nice selection of wine too. In summer they have a few tables outside. I don't think I'd take kids here, but it's perfect for a date or business dinner. More...

After dining at IME we walked out wondering why it took so long to try it. The food was very well made and we were served by the house manager who was a joy and was passionate about every dish on the menu. We enjoyed the beefsteak Florentine, the short ribs braised with Mediterranean flavors, and veal done in a piccata style. Each was delicious and we traded several bites.
