The sandwiches have special names, which of course I don't remember now. I got a cheese steak and husband got a turkey. We also got fries, which the cashier warned would take a while. It was all so good! Portions were generous and very flavorful. What a lucky find! You can bet we will eat there any chance we can. I just wish they had a location in the I.E. I'm not a huge sandwich fan/eater, but Ike's is not your normal sandwich. This place takes flavor and uniqueness, and wraps it up in a delicious warm Dutch bread. I love the names they give the sandwiches, especially being a NorCal sports fan. Whether it's the Madison Bumgarner, Matt Cain, or the local 49er, every sandwich is handcrafted with fresh meat, produce, and toppings. Every sandwich could be shared, unless you're coming in hungry and want to eat it all while there. If you're vegetarian or vegan, don't worry, they got you covered with a very large menu. I'm very happy they are starting to franchise these down in SoCal, as we needed some new places especially for sandwiches. Before I review anything in the mall, I like to try it at least five times; being a worker in Ala Moana myself, sometimes I do not have enough time to prepare my own lunch, so viable options are something I always look for. Food; Amazing, hands down. You consider the prices, sure, they are a bit up there, but you are definitely getting what you pay for. They really pack your sandwich up, and regardless if it is busy, the food comes out just as prompt as it would during down times. I have had almost everything on their main menu, but for first timers I suggest the "menage a trois". I've even started trying out their vegan options, and even if that is not your preference, I do suggest it.Customer service; consistent and very friendly. As I stated before, I have visited this place a lot over the past couple of months, and not once have I had a bad experience ordering. In addition to ensuring consistency of Ike's, I have also tried everything in the Lanai food court, and I never had better service at any of the neighboring food vendors. Misc; if I'm not mistaken, they do have an app similar to Starbucks where you can order your sandwich ahead of time; so if you prefer that method, it is a nice addition that most food places in the mall do not have. Hello from Seattle! I was in town end of November for a Sharks game and a 49er's game. We ended up stopping by here as our first meal when we landed and. . IT. WAS. INCREDIBLE. I got a sandwich with Fried Chicken on Dutch Crunch and it was the best sandwich I've ever had in my life. I'm not even exaggerating.My boyfriend recently stopped eating meat and was hesitant to get a Veggie sandwich because he's yet to have a good one but he tried the "Go Sharks" and rated it one of the best sandwiches he's ever had. I increased my initial review to 5 stars due to how my complaint of an unsatisfactory sandwich was handled. Not only did the owner of Ike's reach out to me in a timely manner after my first post, but I also was promptly contacted by Ike's customer service department after alerting them of my experience. All of my contact with the Ike's team has been courteous and helpful, with the customer service team offering to mail me out a sandwich voucher the same day. I understand mistakes happen in every business, and I appreciate the professionalism and promptness with which Ike's responded. I have since returned to Ike's for my favorite Otterpop sandwich, and I received the awesome customer service and delicious food that I have come to know at Ike's. Thank you! Finally got to try Ike's and man oh man I wasn't disappointed. I got the Ménage Tois sandwich and it was so good. Loved the Dutch bread with that secret sauce. Always looking for vegan options at the Ala Moana Mall. I can't tell you the number of places that have been a disappointed! But not this time!!! OMG!! my sandwich was off the charts!! I order the vegan meatball.. yes you do need to instruct them to take the cheese off (which was not problem. It seemed so awesome and tasted even better. they only have chips, and I wanted fries, so I got some down the way while the sandwich was being made. It's huge!! Ike's is a chain of sandwich shops with 55 locations in California, Arizona, Texas, and Hawaii. Their menu is extensive and creative, including far more vegetarian and vegan options than you will find anywhere else. Choices range from healthy, plant based, to indulgent (fried mock chicken, jalapeño poppers, vegan meatballs). I ordered on Yelp/Grubhub, and my order arrived in 45 minutes.I loved the Pee Wee, which had all the elements of a perfectly balanced sandwich. Crunchy purple cabbage, creamy French dressing, salty vegan turkey (they use Tofurky deli slices), sweet ripe tomatoes, and fresh shredded lettuce. I added pickles, which was a great decision. The Steve Jobs was less impressive. The fried eggplant was bland, and the sandwich overall was too creamy/oily. The pesto had good flavor, but the ranch was unnecessary. I got one sandwich on French Bread, and the other on Sourdough, both of which were low quality, but good enough. Delicious deli with unique sandwich options. I love the connection the menu has to the local area like the number 18 being the Matt Cain. The service I received at this location was fast and friendly. I ordered the Barry Bonds which is turkey and bacon and it was  a pretty solid sandwich. I really appreciate the fact they have vegan/vegetarian options. And they are really delicious. Currently my favorite is the James and the giant peach. The chicken taste like chicken (from what I can remember) and then to top it off the sauce is beyond amazing. It's slightly sweet but not too much.
