What information do you need from a client before you start work?
Please provide a location for areal/drone picture requests. I must check clearance with the FAA before giving a quote.
What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Planning and Patience is what counts, and this is where experience comes in. I’m quality driven and if a project is not to my satisfaction I will not release it.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
We need to know the time frame as well as the budged and according to that we can make a proper proposal. A lot of time is sometimes spent after the shoot on the computer - work a customer usually does not see. We have prepared a check list for us with a variety of questions differentiated what kind of job it is. Also, very important for drone photography is the location. We can only make an offer if we can check in what airspace the location is and if we can get an FAA waiver to fly. So please if possible let us have the location of the shoot - an address or GPS coordinates will do fine.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I have a degree in Photography from Austria and have been doing photography ever since. My original background is originally Portrait and Wedding Photography, but this changed many years ago when I started working for Travel Magazine Publishers and Tourism Related Companies like Hotels, Travel Agencies and Lifestyle Magazines.
