Hunter Construction was the contractor for my client's large scale home remodel. As the interior designer for the project I had the opportunity to work with the owner, Stu Hunter, but also with many of his sub contractors. Stu was professional and easy to work with and well as very knowledgeable about the many facets of work involved in this project. Pretty much anything you can think of we did to this house! New doors, windows, electrical, plumbing, tile and stone work-the list goes on and on. Stu was able to address all the needs of the project and perhaps most importantly, often had creative problem solving input so valuable on a project of this scale. Starting with the bid process through the entire construction, Hunter Construction proved to be detailed, customer oriented, honest, and reliable. Stu Hunter remained on top of the project from start to finish; making certain the work was being done according to plan and being done properly. Several times when I reported to Stu minor items that I noticed needed correcting, I learned that he had already identified the item and had informed the subcontractor to correct it. Stu is very responsive, was at the site every day (for more that a cursory review but to ensure everything was being done properly), and made numerous suggestions throughout the process that improved the project and lowered the cost.
