If you like getting the meat sweats, look no further. You can get a really great cut of meat that has an excellent rub and it will be cooked exactly as ordered. I had a 18oz ribeye, which is not on the bone, so you get the full 18oz before being cooked. After you trim the fat, you're probably down to 14, and that is a good, human sized portion. Bring the fat home for the pup... I ordered the ribeye "cowboy rare" (super rare - "knock it over the head and walk it in") with no char at all. The person with me had the petite filet mignon medium rare. Spot on. I started with a wedge salad that had a sweet ranch flavor with chunks of blue cheese and a good helping of crispy bacon shards. The tomato wedges on the side were ripe and flavorful. Mashed potatoes were not overloaded with butter and had a good strong flavor with chives and parsley in them. The onion rings rocked with a nice side of marinara for dipping and a hefty crisp over thick onion cuts. The person with me had the chocolate truffle cake for dessert and was in chocoheaven.Service was very professional and pleasant, starting with the hostess and then our waiter and bus staff. Remember to tip well for outstanding service. There are TVs at the bar in case an important game is on - you can hear the crowd roar when something happens. The dining room is well-shielded from the bar area. The restaurant could use some storytelling pictures or photos. The artwork is fairly generic and sparse. I think of other steakhouses with history. They could easily include some local turn of the century pictures that go with the Hudson Valley name theme and hopefully tell a story that is relevant or personal to the owners. If you are looking for an amazing dining experience this is a great choice. Can't say enough about the food and service. This is the second time my husband and I went on a date night here. Both times the service has been phenomenal second to none. From the hostess, to the waiter, to the food runner, everyone makes you feel like you are there only priority (in a restaurant full of people). I went HVSH my myself. My intention was to have a nice sizzling porterhouse served medium with hash browns and a nice glass of Cabernet. Instead I had the happy hour (5-7 pm) small bites menu which was great:4 oysters at $1.50 each - high quality, shucked correctly and super tasty served on a bed of icePeroni Bottle in an iced glass for $53 individual lobster rolls in their own puff pastry for $12 - very goodComplimentary bread - excellent 3 filet mignon meatballs in a nice Hardy tomato sauce with 3 garlic crostini for $8 - great but a little too salty2 glasses of house Chard and Cab - both nice pours (none of this measured carafe sh$t) for $7 eachBTW - what I originally came in for the Porterhouse steak served to patrons next to me looked delicious. My siblings and I take turns caring for mom 3 girls one brother. We all chip in and whenever my sister comes up from the city for her weekend to care for mom, my other sister & I join her and  treat mom. We sit at the bar and the staff treat us like royalty, especially mom who just turned 90! They treat her like a queen! She has dementia so we let her have 1 Rob Roy on the rocks sometimes a glass of wine. The food is very good I like the salmon but their steaks are also excellent! Although when we arrive it may be past happy hour, they still allow for us to order off the happy hour bar menu. Its so close but it looks like a steakhouse from NYC! I've been wanting to try this place for a while and I'm so glad I did! The food was amazing and the service matched! I was seated right away and was asked what I would like to drink. When I did order a drink it came very fast and was delicious! The waited was absolutely amazing and very warm. He suggested a scallops appetizer and was right on target! It was delicious. My husband and I ordered steaks and they were cooked to perfection- the sides we picked were delicious as well! Yes the food was a little pricey but completely worth it! For Yorktown Heights this gets a 5 star rating. Delicious dinner and excellent service.  Professional waiter, very attentive but not intrusive. We have been here on two occasions one for my wife's birthday and another for happy hour and both times we left totally satisfied For her birthday we shared the tomahawk steak with our two teenagers well I did as wife got the surf and turf and we left there in a good coma Prices are the same with any good steakhouse so it worth every pennyFor happy hour which was on a Friday when we went had a great female Mexican city bartender that was very personable and knowledgeable (wrote down some great tequilas to try as we spoke and shared great tequila stories)The bar menu was great and once again left there both tipsy with out bellies fullRecommend this place for anyone that wants good meat and sides with excellent service We will be back for the next birthday and maybe happy hour again we haven't decided but it's a great place whenever you decide to go!!

A fine dinner. We were taken to a table in the middle of the dining room, asked for one by the window and got one. Water was served immediately, but the menus came at least five minutes later, and I had to get a waiter's attention to get them. The offerings were good. although I didn't know why they offered a sirloin instead of a NY Strip. We ordered oysters Rockefeller for our appetizer. They were pretty good, but there was an abundance of bechamel sauce and too much cheese; they could have been better, tastier. My wife ordered the sirloin and thoroughly enjoyed it. it was cooked to a perfect medium-rare. I ordered the surf and turn. The filet was wonderful, the lobster tail was, too. The mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach we tasty.The prices are higher than I expected, but the food, atmosphere and service were good. The wine list? Bottles started at $45 for an average-quality label. The wines per glass were nothing of note, but only $10. My wife had a glass, I did not. So, we each had a cocktail before dinner, one glass of wine, shared appetizer, two entrees, shared two sides. No coffee, no dessert. The bill came to $175. I think that's a lot, but the drinks were well-made, as was the food, we weren't rushed, the wait staff was friendly, and it's a very nice place. Will we go back? Yes.
