The receptionist (Denise) is incredibly nice.  I used this service twice as a result of the responsiveness of the service and reasonable pricing. The first time, I called for a bid for trimming 4 trees.  Their bid was substantially less than another I received from a company highlhy reviewed on yelp.com and more in line what I recalled previously paying for tree trimming, so I had Houston Tree Team do the trimming.  They did a great job.  Days after they finished the work, our neighborhood arborist told us that one of the trees that had been trimmed was structurally unstable (due to age not the tree trimming) and recommended we take it down. So I called again, this time to get a bid for removing the very large ash.  Again, I received one other bid from a company highly reviewed on yelp.com, and Houston Tree Team's bid was much more favorable compared to the other bid.  On each occasion, I received the bid the same day that I called, and the work was done the next day or the day thereafter.  And each time, the crews cleaned up after themselves. Excellent service and friendly staff! Highly recommend! We needed to have the trees in our front yard trimmed and a water elm that was (mostly) dead removed. After consulting the Yelp reviews for Houston Tree Team, I gave them a call on Tuesday, and Jorge came out on time - even a bit early! - for a 10 a.m. consultation and quote the next morning. He was extremely friendly and helpful, and when we took him to the back yard to show him an ugly little palm tree I wanted to get rid of, he also asked if we wanted to have the neighbors' tree trimmed back. (That thing has been the bane of my poor husband's existence because it leans way over our fence and drops leaves in our pool constantly, and we can't reach the branches to trim it ourselves.) The quote for everything, including the removal of the two trees, the stump grinding for the water oak, and the trimming of all the trees in the front and the back, was $200 less expensive than the last company we used charged us just for trimming the trees in the front and removing a medium-sized palm tree. We booked for the next morning, and the crew was on time and ready to roll. They were finished in less than three hours, and they cleaned everything up really well. They let us know that another man would be coming later in the afternoon to grind the stump, and sure enough, he was there a couple of hours later and done in about 45 minutes. He even took the time to level out the ground where the tree had been. Denise in the office was great at getting everything scheduled, and we are really pleased with the results of the work. I had a large old oak next to my garage that needed to come down.  It had dropped a 5" diameter limb through my house roof about 6 years ago and now that I have a car parked under it, I got that uneasy feeling.  After reading the HTT reviews and others, I gave HTT a call for an estimate.  They showed up the same day as my call and on time because I had to meet friends for lunch.  The estimate was good so when I asked when they could take the tree out and stump it, the answer was, "how about today?"  I wasn't expecting that but said I would be gone until 3 PM (this was at 11:15 or so).  I got back at 3 PM and they had finished about 10 minutes earlier.  The tree was gone, the stump was gone, and everything cleaned up.  I paid, they left, how much easier can it be than that? I called the Houston Tree Team to have get a quote on trimming four trees rooted in an easement behind our house.  They were able to have George dispatched the same day, and he arrived within the time frame provided by the receptionist.  George quickly provided an estimate and was able to get the work scheduled for the following morning.The team arrived early the next morning (about 30 min ahead of schedule) and got to work immediately.  Cesar and Carlos made an impressive team with Carlos climbing and cutting while Cesar spotted for Carlos and trimmed down the dropped limbs. They worked together to make sure the canopy of the trees remained balanced and aesthetically pleasing. Carlos also made a conscious effort to minimize any damage (gouges/dents) to the lawn by lowering and dropping the limbs bushy end first, to break the fall. He also kept an eye on safety by always ensuring his harness was properly secured prior to cutting. When all the cutting and clearing was finished, Cesar went over the lawn with a leaf blower to make sure none of the smaller twigs were left behind.This company is staffed with very experienced individuals, who conduct themselves professionally and are a real pleasure to work with. Got several quotes from several different tree companies. Their price was great and their work was amazing! Couldn't tell by looking at the ground that they had even been there. It wasn't until I looked up that I could really see they had come. The trees look amazing! I couldn't be happier. They trimmed my two tall oaks, my one massive oak (that is about 7' wide) and my one large magnolia. My only regret is that I didn't get them to trim the rest of the trees on the property. They were quick to schedule a visit for a free estimate and kept me informed of the ETA of the person as he made his way to my place. Their quote was reasonable compared to the others. I had numerous estimates from other companies. Decided to go with Houston tree team for their price point and the fact their quote showed the companies insurance certificate. They had to cancel due to weather, which is totally understandable. When they showed up promptly the next day I was impressed how fast they started to work. Within minutes they had one team in the front yard trimming two pines and one more team in back yard trimming a water oak tree. I would say it took them an hour to have everything trimmed and cleaned. They did an awesome job of cutting all dead limbs and opening up the upper canopy. I called Tree Team for an estimate Monday morning and he arrived in less than two hours.  He provided an itemized estimate, explained how the work would proceed, and made some suggestions I had not considered.  After receiving estimates from two other services, one of which was 35% more and the other over 100% higher, we selected them for both price and professionalism.  I called to schedule the work and we agreed on Wednesday mid-morning, two days hence.  The crew arrived a few minutes after 10 a.m., introduced themselves, and began work, completing the entire job, including cleanup, within two hours.  They were very careful to keep from damaging other trees and plants and flower bed borders, and restored each area to its original condition.  If you need a tree service, call him; I know you'll be pleased. I called and spoke with  the owner, who scheduled a time to meet with us to estimate the job, arriving on time as scheduled.  He gave us a written, detailed quote, with a scheduled date, for the work to be performed.  His crew arrived on the scheduled date, on time, to start the job.  They arrived with several pieces of equipment, were very professional, worked very hard, each was very efficient at their own task, taking down dead trees, grinding stumps and removing a very large brush pile.  Once everything was removed and loaded, they took great pains to ensure all work areas were clean.  We were "very pleased" with their work, the estimate for the work, and we definitely will be using them for future tree service needs. Overall the team did a wonderful professional job.  I knocked one star off because I wanted the 2 bushes gone with the trees, and they didn't remove the 2 bushes because it wasn't written on the work order.  This quote was $140 more than all the other quotes I got (those included the two bushes) , but I wanted professionals so I went with HTT.  Next time I will read the work order. Great Service!  Called for an estimate for grinding a stump in my front yard which they were able to give over the phone based on the size (I also sent pics).  The price was very reasonable.  I was in no hurry but they were able to be there the next morning.  They sent a text with the estimated time and contact name.  Cesar showed up promptly on time, cleaned up everything and was finished within the hour. Jorge Ramos, the owner, came by a few weeks ago and gave me a quote.  It was so much more reasonable compared to the other quotes that I got.  His office staff was very helpful with our special needs.  The crew that came out to do the job, couldn't have been more considerate and their work ethic was outstanding.  They finished up the job very quickly, but their work was professional and thorough.  Originally, they were supposed to trim 13 trees for us, but they ended up trimming 19; this was a nice surprise.  If it's time to get your trees trimmed, I highly recommend these guys.  Top notch! To date my reviews have been inspired by outstanding services or goods delivered usually  by  small business owners  who go the extra mile to deliver something special for their customers - and so it continues!  I had some real major trouble with big 100 year old trees hanging on top of a 2 1/2 story house, needing trimming, plus one to be cut down,  and one 4 foot diameter stump removal.  I was pleased to meet the owner, Jorge Ramos, who showed up on time and gave me a very detailed and competitive bid for the job, recognizing each of MY requirements. I was encouraged when his clean cut crew showed up on time with the appearance of well maintained, modern, heavy equipment  -  AND THEY GOT AFTER IT, WORKING WITH THE EFFICIENCY OF ANTS IN A COLONY.  Over the course of the day I got to meet each one of the workers, one more personable than the other, each paying attention to details I hadn't thought of.  Miguel was amazing as he worked at great heights under very difficult conditions, at all times tended to by his skilled colleagues with safety ropes.  Eddie was a well spoken foreman who seemed to manage the exercise, including assuring the protection of my property as well as my neighbors'.  He made sure my requests that the stumps be ground down 2 feet below ground level were honored.   The guys finished the haul off and clean up leaving the place looking tended,and clean as a whistle - and without a scratch or a pane of glass broken.  And wow, did my old live oak look like a million dollars!  Eddie and the crew left me to take care of the bill later by credit card with Stephanie at the office by telephone, and all I could think of was what a privilege it was to run across a small business owner named Jorge Ramos and his fine crew. I have two large oak trees in my front yard that needed to be trimmed to allow more light to the yard. Ray came out quickly and provided a good quote for trimming not just the oaks but also all the trees that were overhanging into my yard. He seemed very knowledgeable and even offered suggestions to help with my grass issues.A few days later the crew showed up to do the trimming. They were professional, hard working and quickly had everything trimmed up. I couldn't believe how many limbs were brought down. Houston Tree Team did an excellent job, had very quick response time to my initial call, and they cleaned everything up. I had two large trees removed and six additional trees trimmed. I called on a Saturday, and someone came out Sunday morning to survey the work, write a quote and provide me their liability insurance documentation. The quote was very fair.
