Houston Improv Comedy Club

The comedy was fantastic. The food wasn't very good, IMHO, and the drink service was slow. But we went for the comedy, not the food.

I went to go see the hodge Twinn’s they was funnier in person I was dying laugh but they place was really nice small place but I love that you can sit and eat they bring the food to you order whatever you want

Houston Improv venue is nice the comedians are great and I’ve had great service best staff. Hands down The problem I have is the service charge you pay for going to the box office to buy tickets and all the extra charges like food tax, liquor tax not to mention the 2 item minimum of purchases and 18% gratuity for just sitting at the table. Had a great time on an off night. I think it was a Wednesday. A local comedian Stacy Anderson had the crowd peeing their pants in laughter. The bartender wasnt very nice or the sharpest tool in the shed for that matter. But, the waitstaff well made up for what he lacked.... Good clean fun. More...

Went to see Angela Johnson, and It's been such a long time I have not been to improv, but I think it's actually better than what I remembered. Place is clean and neat, well managed. People come in in orders. There are plenty of parking spaces, but if there is a big event, you better come in early or park bit far. Service was good, pretty attentive. Drink is not bad either, plenty of choices for non alcohol, they always feature some very interesting comedian here, fun to watch without traveling to other city. Brought my mom to see Arnez J. The experience was great! We had front of the stage seats and luckily we were seated with nice people. We did not want to order anything and was charged $4.00 per item not ordered since it is a 2 item minimum. However, they had the nerve to add tax to the $8.00 even though it was just a fee for not ordering. Seating is extremely close, but the acts can't be denied. I came with my in laws to see D.L Hughley and it didn't disappoint. Will most definitely be back again for another show. I advise people to get there early because seating is not assigned, unless you pay for reservations. More...
