A dear friend of mine was told she had to quit smoking due to her health. She called me from her doctors office in tears and very scared about her prognosis. I told her that we would quit together and be each other's support system. After all, I had smoked for 37 years and had always told myself if I could quit I would never start again. I am so thankful for the referral from a friend of a friend to seek help from Houston Hypnosis. I am proud to say that I am still smoke free and forever grateful. After 1 visit, I am a non smoker. I am 47 and had smoked since early 20's. I had tried to quit several times over the years and did patches, gum, medications, with no success. I went to one visit, not with much hope, and I am happy to say that i do not smoke and do not miss it. Any smoker reading this you must know: I have 5 best girlfriends who all smoke and it doesn't even bother me. I love to go to casino's.... the smoke doesn't bother me, and yes, I can have plenty of alcohol, and it never crosses my mind to want to have a cigarette. I went to see Dr. Syna on September 14, 2017. I had been smoking cigarettes for almost 40 years. I wanted to quit really bad because I would really like to live to enjoy my retirement years. I have always believed that smoking was in my mind and if I could just change that I could quit. Dr. Syna was great!! He put other positive suggestions in my mind that replaced the thoughts of needing to smoke. I feel 100% better now! I'm in the fitness competition and mud run/obstacle course racing industries and I recently worked with Josh at Houston Hypnosis Center for better focus and nutritional concerns. I was recently involved in a 2 week long competition and was not pleased with some initial results so I visited the center. Two sessions later and following directions, I was able to make improvements for a top 10% finish. I was very pleased with the experience at the center and will certainly continue working with Josh. A few years ago a friend of mine told me she quit smoking with hypnosis. The idea stayed in my mind a long time, but when I decided I was ready and REALLY wanted to quit, I found Houston Hypnosis, made my appointment, and have not smoked since. This June it will be 3 years, I still have no desire to smoke. My husband smokes, so I'm around it daily. It doesn't affect me. No anxiety, no remorse, no weight gain, no adverse affects at all. I went to Joshua a couple of years ago for help with weight loss to become more healthy. I have been able to lose 35 pounds without strict dieting, just learning to listen to my body more and especially not eating if I am not hungry and to watching my portion sizes.
