Q&As

The view from 400 feet up is pretty awesome. I also love the technology associated with this industry, as well as educating others in the practical usage of that technology.

After 8 years of retail management, I did not feel very satisfied so I quit and began my journey as an entrepreneur.

Yes. A lot of the work I do now is for companies that outsource aerial services. Basically a company from Chicago calls me to do work for a client in Austin. I uploaded the media to the company and they in turn edit it and provide it to the client. I rarely meet either party.

I can for instance also live stream for a clients social media when acting as an account manager. I could cover the opening of a new facility or a building construction in progress and provide clients not on site the ability to monitor the process.

Masks, gloves and not physically interacting with clients unless necessary has been helpful.

Services

Standard and FPV drone based media services. High resolution aerial photography as well as 4K aerial videography. Great for commercial and residential real estate, architectural photography, artistic projects, stock footage and more.

An orthomosaic map shot by drone is a geometrically correct aerial image that is composed of many individual high resolution still images that are stitched together.

An example of an orthomosaic map would be similar view to the satellite view in Google Maps, however, the data is far more accurate and up to date.

"By definition, a drone roof inspection will require your drone to be nimble, easy to control, and capable of flying close to a structure without crashing into it. To an extent, how safe that operation is will depend on the skill of the pilot.

But choosing the right drone for the job will go a long way toward improving the safety and precision of the operation." DroneBase

I am currently an adjunct instructor for the Sonoran Desert Institute. I teach UAS 250 Professional Remote Pilot - An 8 week online Part 107 test prep course.

Are you studying for the part 107 and want to feedback with a real person? I can help with that. Just got a new DJI drone and want some pointers to step your game up? I can help with that also. Want to hold training for a new team or division? I can help.
