She has the perfect eye for color, form, and function. She listens to you, gives you ideas and helps you put together your dream, whether it be a single room or a whole house. Holly with Houseometry was absolutely wonderful to work with and she exceeded all of our expectations. To say she has an eye for design would be an understatement. She walked us through our home improvements with classy expertise and talent (we updated our kitchen backsplash, painted all common areas, installed crown moulding in downstairs common areas, added panel moulding in the dining room, installed an electric fireplace and built custom bookshelves with drawers!). Holly is exceptional. She does it all - designing, space planning, floor coverings, furniture, window coverings, wall hangings, accessories, etc. ! She designed our outdoor living spaces beautifully in conjunction with a major landscape renovation to our property. She then transformed a very tired family room and living room perfectly into two new inviting spaces we are now very much enjoying. She's very creative but also a very good listener. We have been delighted with Holly, both as a professional, and as a person. She helped us remodel our home that was built in 2000 and transformed it from a choppy, not very attractive interior into a home that flows and functions beautifully (a process that took over a year). As it was our first time going through a remodel, we really counted on Holly's expertise on everything from kitchen counters to hardwood floors to furniture to window treatments to lighting and fixtures. I have called on Holly Peterson at Design Diva Interiors several times over the years to assist us in most of our remodeling projects. Holly brings an innate creative intuition to each project she takes on, all the while keeping us (the clients) informed and involved every step of the way.
She is mindful of our budget and always allows us to have a strong voice and fully participate in the recreation of our living spaces, all the while guiding us with her experience, education, knowledge of trends and classics and most importantly, with her passion for the art of design.
Her excitement and passion for our projects flows into every little consideration, every little nook and cranny.
She calls when she say she will; she makes appointments with us and keeps them on time; she has developed a 'crew' around her that meet her standards 100% and represents who she is. I completely and highly recommend Holly Peterson / Design Diva Interiors!

Design Diva is the best! Holly and her wonderful crew designed and remodeled several rooms for us including an office with new built-ins, a bathroom that now is the talk of the neighborhood and looks like it should be in San Diego Home and Garden, and 3 bedrooms that are superb. We have contracted with Design Diva Interiors for many years and hope to continue our relationship for many more. The last project was a wood floor install with a unique wood product (random widths and lengths) that included a sub-floor install to place the new wood to the existing tile height.
The co-ordination with the general contractor and other sub-contractors was very organized. This made the project a pleasant experience for all participating trades and the home owner.

Holly has amazing taste in up to date but not ultra modern decor. She assisted us with a 1965 house in Del Cerro to update and add our personal style.
After the first meeting she totally understood what we would like and as it came together we never doubted her when she has recommended something. My husband says, "If Holly says it would look good, then it will". She is professional, on time, happy and easy to work with. She is a person who expects the best from trades people and all work done in your home.
Highly recommend for any project big or small.
