La camera era abbastanza ampia e confortevole. Comodo il letto, buona la pulizia. Lo staff dell'albergo è disponibile e gentile, nel complesso è un buon albergo considerata anche la posizione a due passi dalla spiaggia e con negozi e ristoranti raggiungibili in pochi minuti a piedi.

A couple of blocks from Santa Monica pier and very walkable location to lots of restaurants. Older hotel, quite quaint. Very friendly staff. Room was small, bathroom very small but really quite charming as a whole. Very clean. Costs $25 per day for valet parking per day and they will retrieve your car multiple times per day so you can go in and out if you wish. More...

Excellent location, very close to the pier and beaches. Helpful staff and we had early checking them left our bags so we could go exploring on the last day. This hotel had mixed reviews but was great for us. Would have been nice to have a pool there, but I chose to get a cheaper hotel close to the action so no complaints. I like this hotel mostly because of great location and decent pricing. I dislike the noise of huge fan installed in the inner yard, where my windows were and the lack of the fridge in the room. Anyway, I would visit it again.

Perfect location, breakfast was basic but a good start to the day, toiletries were hawaiian tropic which were fab, hairdryer, iron and board, no air-con in room but ceiling fan did just as good. Very happy with this hotel.

Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt. Durch die Lage ist es natürlich aber auch immer etwas laut. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 4. Stock zum Broadway hinaus. Die Betten sind bequem, das Zimmer war sauber, technisch ist es nicht auf dem neuesten Stand. Für das extrem langsame Internet muss man sich jedes Mal neu anmelden. Wenn man eine Verbindung erhält. Great location, paid $600 and change for a double queen with an attached room with very comfortable leather and wood sofa and two chairs. Great views, not ocean view, but a good view of the blvd and you are easy driving or walking distance to the pier. Paid extra for valet parking which was totally worth it. Spent 3 days at Hotel Carmel.||Location is perfect. 5 minute walk to the beach and pier also all restaurants and shops.||We worried before we travelled as we read some of the negative reviews on here and panicked. .. ||None deserved...||||Our room was on the main front(road side)... didn't disturb our sleep. Rooms had everything we needed. Fan kept us cool during the night... ||Yes it's dated but does that matter when you are away in LA. ||||The coffee and pastries in the morning were ideal to set us up for the day ahead.||||Staff were helpful and check in / out was quick and simple.||||Would recommend this hotel and will definatley go back to use as a base to explore again. ||||:) More...
