We chose HCL for our wedding day back in November to provide transportation to the venue as well as after our wedding to our B&B. We can’t express enough how happy we were with the service/communication, clean limo, and of course, the amazing Ric (driver) for both showing up on time, early as a matter of fact, and getting us to our destinations in a timely, and safe, manor. Tonight, I surprised my husband with a limo ride, roundtrip, to the new Cavalier Hotel for dinner and drinks, and we had the same experience as before! Ric is the man!!! From the first call Horseless Carriage helped me figure out the most cost effective and efficient way to coordinate transportation for myself (bride) and the groom and his family to the church separately. Our driver helped pack up everything that needed to go to the church for the ceremony and then unload...in the rain! We hired Horseless Carriage for our daughter's wedding. WE hired them to take to the church and then to the reception and at the last minute added the trip home from the reception. They were on time for each segment...never had to wait. The driver was professional and the car was clean. Only thing I would have said a negative on was whoever stocked the car forgot drinks so bride/groom had nothing on drive home. We know things happen and it was not a major. Being on time/professional and a clean car most important and they did that in spades. Also, Fred the owner (think that's his name) was a joy to work with. The guy who runs the company, I believe Fred, is extremely helpful and nice. I let him know I would only need the limo for a short period in the beginning of the wedding and the for a short drop off at the end of the night, and he worked with us to drop the price and make sure that we get the exact services we were looking for without overpaying for the whole night. I'm sorry it's taken 3 weeks to give feedback - trying to get back to "normal" around our house after months of wedding planning. I arranged for the SUV limo for my youngest daughter's wedding day - to take her & her bridesmaids to the wedding venue. The limo was gorgeous, the driver (A.J.) was wonderful - friendly, polite, super attentive, and the girls all loved it. I even had to call the day before, in tears, thinking we weren't going to be able have the girls stay the night (etc.) and Fred was so understanding & caring. It really touched my heart. Thankfully, a few hours later, things straightened themselves out and all was well. The girls (7 bridesmaids + my 7 year old "flower girl" granddaughter and a few extras LOVED it! Most have never been in a limo before, let alone an SUV limo. I could not be happier with the vehicle, the service, the customer service or the personalities of the owners & driver. We hired Horseless Carriage Limousine for a round-trip transport from the Norfolk Airport to Cape Charles, VA. They were, by far, the most reasonably priced. We had a group of 8 women, so they sent their stretch limo. It was nice in appearance. Our driver was lovely! She was very polite and accommodating. We had no problems either way. Fred and his team were extremely professional and very flexible especially with last minute changes. The drivers were very friendly and helpful; the company was so easy and comfortable to work with. I couldn't be happier with the service - a great value with the service I wanted. When the vehicle arrived (on time!) they changed the limo out at the with a "hummer" which was huge with all the "bells and whistles." Although it was not the "style" of my wedding, the upgrade was complementary as Fred felt I would be more comfortable with my wedding party in a larger vehicle. Horseless carriage did an exceptional job and I'm glad we selected them for our wedding day. Unfortunately, the limo which was supposed to take us to the church was in an accident however horseless carriage upgraded us to a SUV limo in order to get us to the church on time. The chauffeur was amazing friendly and very professional. The only thing was during the second limo ride there was no ac or power and it was hot but we didn't care cause we slept until we got to the reception anyway.
