What’s your interior design process?
Phase 1: Initial Consultation & Proposal
Every project begins with an initial design consultation where we meet with you in your home or via video call to analyze the space and learn more about your needs. We want clearly address the problem areas in your space. We will discuss design ideas to get a good feel for the vision you have for your space. We will clearly identify the goals for your project and outline a game plan to make your dream space become a reality!
HMI will then assess the scope of work it will take to complete your project. We will present you with a proposal that outlines the work that will need to be completed along with the costs associated to decorate your space.
Phase 2: Design Development & Measurements
During phase 2, HMI will be using the outline we created in phase 1 to begin to bring your design to life!
For virtual concept boards or floor plan services only, this will be the final phase where we will send your finished plan to you!
For full scale remodels, we will do initial measurements, create vision boards, curate layouts and furniture plans, help you declutter, select products, meet with vendors for custom products, and make design changes if necessary before signing off on the design and moving to phase 3!
For home organization services, we will do initial measurements for the installation of closet organizers, pantry shelfs, containers, etc. before moving to phase 3. If we are not adding any of these components, this will be our final phase where we will come to the home and organize your existing space.
Phase 3:Curation
In our curation phase, we are ordering, tracking, and coordinating with your contractor all the way through installation! We will be in constant communication with you throughout the whole process…all the way up to the big reveal!
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
Any! However we specialize in creating spaces that are refined and timeless, while maximizing comfort, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. I would describe the HMI style as "Modern Classic".

Interior design services offered completely online! Work with us from anywhere in the world! Our E Design packages allow us to offer quick turn around interior design at affordable prices. We will transform your living spaces into havens of timeless beauty and functionality.

Home Organization
Basic Home Organization Package:
After our virtual consultation and discussing the details of your expectations, we will work in your home to transform your space to make it more functional and organized. Basic Home Organization can be purchased in 4 hour in home organizing sessions. This package includes design layouts & organizing solutions, shopping for storage implementations if necessary, coordinating with additional service providers, and a post home organization maintenance plan.
Luxe Home Organization Package:
This package includes all services above in 8 hour sessions of in home organizing! You will have my dedicated attention to your project all day. This is a great option if you have a large last minute project, or want to get your project done quickly.
Concept Boards
Unsure of how to turn your ideas into reality? We will assist you in crafting a personalized Concept Board, complete with achievable inspiration images tailored to your existing space. By having a tangible end goal to refer back to, you can stay focused and avoid feeling overwhelmed by the projects demands.
Space Planning
Together, we will brainstorm practical and creative solutions to make your space functional and personalized for you and your family.
E Design Advice
For someone who is a DIYer but would like basic design advice to get started or to add that final touch to their space. We can provide recommendations for things such as furniture, paint colors, accessories, and more, to complete your space.
