This restaurant is very cozy and has great ambience. Tonight the restaurant has terrific Brazilian music with Brazilian superstar Dill Costa, lifting everyone’s holiday spirit multiple notches up! First time ordering- new in the Neighborhood. I was pretty impressed with the amount of food we got for the inexpensive price we paid- we did the sampler platter so we could try everything- fed 2 people just fine- food was cooked well and tasted great- they forgot to include our soda in our pick up order and I did t realize it until I was home already- no biggie I thought. The place is almost like a wild west saloon. Dim lighting, with red string lights throughout the "saloon" also makes you forget that you're in the middle of a major city and instead reminds you of being inside a country bar. (Almost like Red Dead Redemption). The place is family owned, and they work closely with local businesses for their products (Ex. The sodas/some beers are locally made.) The meats. I ordered the deluxe personal platter which comes with a hot link, side, corn bread, and either brisket or pulled pork. The food itself is melt in your mouth and delicious. The BBQ sauces they serve alongside rather than on top of the meat, is also very good. The only thing that I can suggest is the amount of food.
