Maegan and her team completely transformed our home and we couldn’t be happier! We did a full transformation of our entire downstairs including new floors, closing niches, new lighting, paint, new kitchen backsplash, new hardware, and all new design and furniture elements. When we started with her, we didn’t know what to expect as it was it first time using a design service but everything was super professional and communication was great throughout. The way we see it, every well-designed home starts with connection — and we root our process in that connection from the jump. We’ll take a holistic look at your entire project, and then chat via a consultation call to start planning and dreaming up your space. After a proposal is baked and a contract is signed, we’re ready to go.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
TRANSITIONAL, BRIGHT DESIGN DOESN’T HAVE TO FEEL UNAPPROACHABLE.
The way we see it, home is supposed to be just that — home. A place for you to rest your head, to make memories, to raise your babies, and to live your life. It’s not supposed to feel stuffy or overly polished, and it’s not supposed to feel overwhelming and insurmountable, either. But, when you’re designing your home, it can be hard to strike the perfect balance.
At Home Sweet Happy, our greatest joy is to strike that perfect balance for you. Our interior design approach puts the home first, each and every time, giving you a space that feels quintessentially yours… and beautiful, to boot.
What do you love most about your job?
As a mama and former teacher, there’s nothing that feels more important to me than helping people create spaces that bring them peace, rest, and comfort. At Home Sweet Happy, you’ll find a space where you feel supported, understood, and inspired — and then we’ll help you create a space that feels the same.
As a North Dallas-area interior designer, my team and I specialize in elevated, balanced, and comfortable spaces for each and every one of my clients.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I'M MAEGAN: THE OWNER BEHIND HOME SWEET HAPPY.
I spent several years in the elementary school classroom before uncovering a passion for interiors, and now I spend my days helping people design their dream spaces.
While I always loved design, I never thought about making it my career until a chance meeting in my neighborhood park — where a friendship and then a business was quickly born.
As a former teacher, I saw constantly how important it was for people to feel safe and comfortable in their homes. And now, as a designer, I strive to help every client, every family, and every home to feel as beautiful, as balanced, and as breathtaking as possible.
I created Home Sweet Happy Interior Design because I know that everyone deserves the home of their dreams. And, with an approach rooted in that understanding, we work to create those spaces that feel as good as they look.
