Holy Crêpe was one of the first bright lights in an otherwise dim food truck scene in Athens. On July 29th, I threw a surprise engagement party for my best friend and her fiancé at Little Kings downtown. There were 45 guests that had told me they were planning to attend, so I needed to find food that was going to feed a lot of people and that everyone would love. Then I remembered the Holy Crepe food truck I've seen (and eaten at) at the Athens Farmers market and various festivals in our great city. After speaking with Saphir and learning about their very reasonable pricing guide, I knew that this was the clear choice and I'm so happy I hired them! Not only was the food AMAZING, but the service was above and beyond my expectations. Each guest at the party raved about Holy Crepe and how nice the two guys in the truck were. Holy Crepe catered desserts for my wedding and it was tres tres bien! Holy Crepe is easy to communicate with, charges fairly, sets up their truck and displays beautifully and fit our ceremony very well. They serve people quickly and efficiently, preventing a backlog of customers, and even sent us home with the amazing leftovers, so we had crepes for days afterward! Our favorites were strawberry nutella (the best my wife has ever had), and banana peanut butter! If we had to choose again, we'd definitely go with Holy Crepe again and again -- what a unique and lovely dessert option for us "no cake" folks out there! More...

I met Holy Crepe before the truck was even up and running, and I patiently waited for one of their first ( and I think still the best) sweet crepes, LEMON! They are so creative with their flavors and combos, good value for your dollaz. The food is better every time and it was excellent to begin with. But honestly, the best part are the people who run the business and work there. Their spirit and philosophy of community and quality help me feel like I am living in the kind of world I have want to live in: one where people take the time and attention to be real and excellent, with hard work, integrity, and optimism. I know that probably sounds like a hokey thing to write about crepes and a food truck, but it really is little things like this that make the world go round IMO.
