After bouncing around from salon to salon looking for the right place and person, I have found a home at Hologram! Melanie and the other folks there are extremely talented and professional. Not only are they super talented, they are kind, warm, and friendly. I love coming into the salon! I know that my hair is in the best hands (including my brows)! I love the products they use as well. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Melanie and the other stylists/front of house! I should also mention that my husband also gets his hair cut here. Hologram Salon continues to impress me each time I visit! The staff treats you like a VIP from the moment you walk through the door (the decor is so chic as well). My New Year’s Resolution was to practice more self care, and do more things for myself. When I found out Karla was doing hand tied extension I immediately knew I wanted them. Hologram Salon did a superb job with my damaged, frizzy, and long mess of thick hair! I was helped today by Karla and Maggie and enjoyed the pleasant conversation and relaxing vibe during my wash and cut-- I left feeling refreshed and completely satisfied with my hair! I was also given lots of tips for my color-treated and damaged hair, and left the salon with a recommended hair mask (which I am very excited to try out)!! I've seen SJ for about a year now and she always makes me look my best! Everyone in the salon is welcoming and goes above and beyond to make the experience amazing, even when I call for a next-day appointment. Although you can find less costly haircuts in the Athens area, the price matches the quality of the cut and care given by the staff here (well worth it!) I am in amazement at the professionalism and heart that SJay and the entire staff showed my dear friend today. She has been going through chemo treatments and I wanted to find a special place that was sensitive to her needs as she transitions into the phase of hair loss. Although I don't ever get my hair done professionally, I will always rave about the service I witnessed today in your salon. Everyone we encountered went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences each time! Brooke does an amazing job! She listens carefully. She makes sure you get the color you want but also while keeping your hair healthy as can be! My hair has never looked or felt better. Coming to terms with the many life changes of having a terminal disease is challenging, for me accepting what was happening inside was even more pronounced by looking into the mirror visually seeing the progress. My friend Janet told me of Hologram as her daughter Maggie is employed here and raves about all. Lucy took what was left of my hair and did what I mourned to be impossible, she styled a new definition into my visual self-identity. Now I look into the mirror each morning no longer shedding tears over the gradual loss of my hair, but seeing Me, a day to day survivor still beautiful, and never defeated.
