We recently hosted a private screening at Hollywood Palms and let me just say that my guests and I had the time of our lives! ! Special thanks to Ginnamarie (event director) and Kim (server) for making our experience very pleasant. Their team was so attentive and accommodating to our group. We’ve been going to Hollywood Palms for years now. The new leather seating with the electronic reclining as well as the addition of call buttons on the seating have really improved the experience. Me and my wife love Hollywood Palms! It’s always a good experience, the only advice I would give is to have more people working when it’s a popular movie. Sometimes when the theater is full it takes a bit longer to get your server to come over but not so long that it’s annoying. Also they are hiring so I believe they’re already trying to fix that issue. The staff is always really nice though and the food and prices are good and reasonable too, the price for movies is cheaper here than almost every other place and you get super comfy chairs that recline. Also Dan Aykroid greets you at the start of every movie, oh him and cats ringing bells, so they have that going for them as well! More...

My family and I love this place. We don't live in the area but we go up to visit the area when a good movie is playing. We take in the mall and other various stores up there. Where else can you sit comfortably while watching a movie? Also they serve meals instead of just your average theater faire (popcorn, corn dogs, nachos, candy, soda). This saves us the time it would take to go to a separate eatery after the movie then shop or shop then eat then see a movie. You are served at your seat.. Their new recliners are comfortable and you can control how high you want to put your feet up. Their meals are fantastic and they serve large sodas so I hardly need a refill. If you need anything you can use a call button located on the front of your seat. I love the decor of each individual theater too. The servers have been incredibly friendly as well. Love the place. I thought it looked so cool walking in with all the plants and the waterfall. Everywhere you look there was always something to look at. I absolutely loved this place! This was the first time I ever been there. My friend took me there for my late birthday dinner I really enjoyed myself the movie theater is fixed up like if you were in Hollywood or make you feel like you are being served in a luxury place. I love the idea they served liquor and food there! I had the Whoppi Goldberg Burger and strawberry margarita. The waitress was super nice. Place is beautiful and humid like in tropical rainforest outside in the lobby. The theatre is private and small and comfortable too. I loved the chairs. I even spoke to this mid age black lady who was so nice while watching the movie and even offer us her pizza lol but we enjoyed it to the max!!! We will be coming back definitely! More...

I went to see Pacific Rim Uprising last night with my parents & we fully enjoyed our experience. We had arrived before the movie began & as a result, enjoyed drinks from the bar in the lobby as we waited. During that process, I wanted a tv channel changed & a beautiful young lady working the bar did so happily. When the movie started we were able to get our food & drink orders inputted & they were delivered in a timely fashion. Every piece of the order was correct, tasty & the proper temperatures. I have been visiting Hollywood Palms once or twice a month since they first opened. Overall, they have only gotten better since first opening, though they are very different.

First, the positives, which are why I come back each time.

+ The decoration of the building, and particularly each of the theaters, is spectacular. Fun and exciting each time you walk into a new one.

+ The seating, since they have upgraded, is excellent. You reserve a specific seat, all of them are the electric recliners that so many theaters are getting nowadays, with a tray table to eat your food. Most seats in each theater are good seats, and they’re all in good condition.

+ The food is genuinely very good. I get the Potato Munckskins with the Grinch Dip every time. They also have a phenomenal mushroom burger, good nachos, and two or three good desserts. The alcoholic drinks are good too, especially now that they have a number of good local beers on tap.

+ I typically get great service. I’ve seen lots of very negative reviews of service in here, but I have been here more times than I can count and have only had bad service maybe two times. I would say they are typically very good, and always respond quickly to the call button.

There are negatives too, however, that keep them from getting five stars.

- The seats are nice, but with reserved seating it would be nice if I could buy them online. But their online ticketing requires an extra dollar surcharge with every purchase. I don’t think that’s necessary, especially since they now charge the same as other theaters for their tickets.

- The food is solid. But it is overpriced, with no free refills on drinks. I used to justify this to myself by considering that the movie tickets themselves are so much cheaper than other theaters. But now they are $10.50 for an evening showing which is on par with every other local theater, and since you are still required to purchase at least one item, it can be a pretty pricey evening. They could fix this by not requiring a purchase, making the food slightly cheaper, or at least offering one free refill on drinks. For alcoholic beverages, they are massively overpriced as well. But this is typical of any restaurant, at least Hollywood Palms has some solid deals each weeknight that make them much more reasonable. More...

I have seen 2 movies here and both times the service was excellent, Colin was our server 2 weeks ago and he was very attentive and polite.
The food has been excellent both times and you can't beat the comfort of the recliners!

Took my daughters for a birthday dinner and movie last evening to see “A Wrinkle In Time”. We enjoyed ourselves so much! Hollywood Palms consistently provides great service,friendly staff,delicious food, and there are very cool historic artifacts to explore around the theater. I recommend all the time to family and friends!Looking forward the next occasion to have a reason to stop in! Love the new recliners also,it’s a nice touch to an already wonderful experience!
