We really enjoyed the family friendly entertainment. The room wasn’t as clean as I would want and no air conditioning in the bathroom. Bring your own coffee. You have to request house keeping a day in advance for the prices we would expect at least towel exchanges. The food prices were expensive and kids don’t eat free breakfast but other meals are free for kids so it works out. Great place for families. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Didn’t have any issues while staying this past wk. Only complaint I really have were the prices in the restaurant downstairs, we wanted to have breakfast at the resort out of convenience so we ordered a drink and decided to do the buffet until our waiter informed us it was $42 per adult and $25 per kid. Needless to say we didn’t have the buffet. I understand prices of things have gone up but those are ridiculous prices and should be shown up front to the guests. I’m glad our waiter told us before hand. Otherwise it’s a nice place to visit and very much what you’d expect at a resort. It’s also close to many of the local attractions in the area. More...

First timers here! Kids ages 6&11. Loved it. Small enough for kids to run about as they made friends but big enough to have plenty of options for everyone.

Loved the views, the entertainment: live music, dive in-movies, beach access. This hotel is centrally located in PCB which makes all the good stuff easily accessible.

We were on the first floor and would 100% want that spot next time, too. The full-sized fridge was AMAZING to have. Food at restaurants on site was average although I’ll say- the chicken strips were FANTASTIC. We didn’t eat at the sit-down restaurants due to the expense. What meals we chose to eat, we used the “kids eat free” vouchers with the purchase of an adult meal. Very helpful. If price of food is a concern for you, I would recommend going grocery shopping beforehand and stock your fridge with essentials. In our room: My kids had cereal and fruit for breakfast, sandwiches and chips for lunch and frozen options for dinner. Microwave in the room was helpful. No reason to waste money with a full size fridge available! 💪🏽

It is a great hotel especially for families with kids. Perfect location. However the management is very poor and unprofessional. We have been saving money to go this hotel whole year. I don't work because I take care of my 2 little kids and 75 years old mother. My mom, kids , husband and i were planning this vacation for long time. We all were so excited. However, 2 days before the first check in night my mom got high fever, cough and running test. Doctor took x ray to make sure it is not an anomia. We are still waiting for the result. Doctor did not recommend to take a flight. My mom is taking antibiotics and she is too weak to spend 15 hours driving from Chicago to Panama. We did not have any options and we had to cancel our reservation.
The penalty fee was so high almost $300!!!! During covid time, high inflations and increasing prices for food and gas it is not acceptable!!!
Karol ( supervisor) did not care that I was almost begging her to make exemption. Especially that i wanted send her letter from my mom's doctor. She did not want to listen that it is a special situation and even store credit will be helpful because we will book vacation in June. $300 is nothing for holiday in corporation however for most families that struggle to meet basic needs it is a lot of money. DISAPPOINTED!
While the entire staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, the property was well maintained, clean and secure and our room was good size and beds were comfortable, we were VERY DISAPPOINTED with our stay as the COST OF FOOD AND DRINKS ARE RIDICULOUSLY HIGH considering the food was mediocre at best. They also charge an extra fee for 2 chairs and an umbrella on the beach ($50)! We probably could have gone to an all inclusive vacation for the same cost!!!!
Also, on the day we were checking out there were several employees washing and waxing a car in front of the hotel, I would guess it was one of the bosses cars….very unprofessional. I guess that’s why they charge so much for their food and drink, so we can pay for the employees to take care of the bosses….unbelievable!

This was not our first stay here, but we are incredibly disappointed by what has changed. The food prices are ridiculous!! Vanilla Latte at The View is $14.89! Mixed drinks/frozen drinks are the same and they are watered down and were not tasty at all. No housekeeping service unless you request it, which isn’t a big deal really but give me a broom for the sand on my floor, clean towels daily, and bigger trash bags to take my own trash out. Our room could have been cleaner, there is red juice splattered on our shutters that just needs a wet wipe down. The shower had razor stubble on the wall from someone tapping their razor on it. Small stains on a pillow and comforter. Check your door when you close it to make sure it really is closed. Our latch would not engage leaving our room unlocked. Security did fix it on our fourth day after we were locked out twice.
When I booked our room it states it sleeps 5 on the website, it does if you want to pay $25/night for a rollaway bed. The rollaway bed is springs with material over it. Not sure who is sleeping on this and feeling on vacation. Daily resort fee DOES NOT cover the beach chairs and umbrella at the beach. Two chairs and an umbrella will cost you $50 each day.
*edit after check out* I change my statement about all of the staff being great. The bartender Isidora and one who’s name started with a K we’re not only rude and impatient with customers, but they pretty much belittled a lady asking to have another of what they had made earlier. I felt embarrassed for this lady as she tried to explain what it was and Isidora corrected her several times in a snotty tone. A good bartender should remember what they made for a customer and certainly not make them feel this way when they are spending $15/drink! As soon as I signed my room charge, she immediately looked to see the tip. The resort is not that busy this week and there were only three of us ladies sitting waiting on drink orders. Otherwise, the staff is great and very responsive. The resort is clean and very secure. I love how much security there is on patrol at all hours of the day and night. Save your time going to the “beach bonfire” it is a tiny little fire ring that about 6 people could sit around. Dive in movies are great for kids - little kids. Did have a security guard say to my 18 year old daughter when she was in the adult hot tub -“ma’am, I know for a fact that you are not 18!” When she replied that she was, he left her alone. I did a rewards stay, but if I had paid for my stay and wanted to eat at the resort, I could have went on an all-inclusive vacation for what it would have cost me. It was cheaper to Door dash our meals or go to a restaurant. That is disappointing if you just wanted to be a beach bumb. I am so sad because we absolutely love this hotel, but the concerns above make me question returning. More...

First i want to say that if you plan on checking in at normal check in then this isn’t your place to stay. However once we finally got our room at 8:45 PM (thanks to Ray manager over security i believe) he stepped up and helped the front desk get rooms available. He was the hero of the night. Everything else was amazing! Ray and Roberto and the entire security team made sure we had the best stay and i thank you gentlemen for that!! 5 stars from me to Ray and his team!!! More...

one of the best resorts i been have pools kids adults heated pools alot of activities the restaurant food very expensive $42 buffet each to high child free but there's alot restaurants across the hotel to crab food from ft beach front ! ! my kids love it 16 and 9 year old good in case its cool or it rain you have options if you want be beach or pool rooms were clean it was price but worth very family friendly not run down like other hotels condos or vrbo they also have spa lounge movies every night live music night shows like Hawaiians dancing will definitely come back More...

I can not brag enough on the security thank you Kyle Lorenzo Terence and micheal without the diligence of these men my boyfriends and i personal belongings would have been lost! Our phones and wallet where stolen at the hot tub they where on it quick and where able to help the police locate my phone and our wallet with debits cards and ID ETC. once we were able to log into my boyfriends iCloud we looked on the find my device and found that the people who had stolen our belongings had thrown my boyfriends phone in the bushes. Thank you Joe for looking for it! I’m so thankful for the staff members that’s contributed into us having a wonderful vacation and helping us recover our stolen items! We will definitely be back!
