This was an awesome trip just before hurricane Irma. Upon arrival we were greeted by two of the sweetest and friendliest front desk clerks (Leslie and sorry I'm bad with names for the other person). The next morning I had the pleasure of meeting a very energetic Zachary when I reported an issue with the shower. His quick witted thinking made me laugh when I told him about the leaking shower head and without a beat he said that was the new spa feature. Peggy was with housekeeping. She serviced the room during our entire stay with enthusiasm. The entire staff was very friendly and outgoing making the stay worthwhile. I would highly recommend staying at this Holiday Inn Express. Very nice remodeled hotel. We stayed in 624 which was a king executive suite with walk in shower. Not sure if the ac was working right, but it was cool enough and wasn't worth reporting at 11pm. Close enough to Sun Trust Park, 10 to 15 minute walk. My only complaint would be the little shelf in the shower, not big enough for bottle of shampoo and bar of soap, one or the other. Easy fix, put a hanging thing from the shower door. Staff was very friendly, especially Zack, who welcomed us and then gave us a ride to the all park. We will look forward to staying there many times in the future on our weekend baseball trips. More...
