The hotel is very clean and inviting. Very good first impression. The front desk attendant, Brittany was extremely friendly and helpful. I am writing this review mostly to recognize her above and beyond service! Brittany pointed out they had the very convenient large luggage carts. This was such a relief, because I had a ton of stuff. Every time I came into the lobby Brittany made sure to check if she could help. She deserves recognition for a job well done! The room was clean and modern. Had a slight odor of smoke(hotel is non smoking but someone obviously had violated). Bed was very comfy. Appreciated the attention to detail by having a mini-fridge, microwave and Keurig in the room. We stayed here recently during our visit to Death Valley. This location is about an hour away from Death Valley, but the price was right. The hotel itself appears to be recently built and it is located in a central location. There are a ton of restaurants around the hotel within a mile or so. The hotel itself is squeaky clean, both common areas such as lobby, breakfast area, pool, fitness rooms and the room itself. The free breakfast was great and food was refilled as it runs out. We had all the food options available even when we visited minutes before closing time. Front desk staff was friendly and courteous. I highly recommend this hotel, if you are visiting Death Valley. Buddy and I found this place while on a road trip. I booked a room for the night online maybe twenty minutes before we got there, around midnight. Booked the cheapest room listed on the website (ballin on a budget!), which was a single king bed, and warn my friend that things are gonna get real cozy. Online portals aren't always updated up-to-the-minute so when we get there the night manager at the desk (Fred...White I think) takes a look and asks if we still wanted to share a king bed. I say we just need a place to crash and don't really care. Fred hooked us up with a room a bit cheaper AND we got our own queen beds. In the middle of the night, Mr. Fred went the extra mile to ensure that we had a positive customer experience. I believe positive reviews are at least as important as negative ones, and so I write: Mr. Fred is a giant among men, and we are but pilgrims observing his grace and awe-inspiring powers of hospitality management. I stayed here for Kaaboo and have had an excellent experience.  Compared to other hotels within walking distance to the festival, the price was right. Cannot say enough good things about the staff from the front desk to housekeeping. Everyone is friendly and helpful.  Breakfast was surprisingly good with different options each morning.  Room was clean with a big balcony to enjoy. Loved the little touches like Bath and Bodyworks lotion and aloe face wipes. Finally, they have Ben and Jerrys plus other goodies available in the lobby for a much needed late night snack. Again, the staff is amazing. More...

This will be a long review, so I apologize in advance. On my way home from Colorado to Arizona, I had to make an emergency stop. I had been under the weather, and thought that I could make it home.  Maybe if I just stop and rest....I arrived in May (this is their busy season) and planned on just stopping for the evening. The very next morning, I wasn't better. I was much worse. Fearing an ambulance ride, and unwanted attention I contacted the front desk. I asked to speak with someone about possibly getting a ride to the hospital. Within minutes there was someone at my door. The head housekeeper, and a member of the maintenance team helped me out of the room, placed my belongings in my car, and drove me to the hospital. I was told that If I needed a ride back, to call them back. (At this point I am totally out of it with fever and infection) After being treated at the hospital, I did call the hotel back. They picked me up, took me to drop off my prescriptions, took me to get a quick bite to eat, and the Manager personally met me at the front desk and made sure that I was okay. He then booked me into a discounted room because he was genuinely concerned about me. I felt safe, and relaxed thanks to these amazing people in such a stressful situation. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.About the hotel. Excellent customer service! Beautiful, and clean hotel. Better than average breakfast. Gorgeous pool with a generous outside lounge area. Also, this hotel is conveniently located less than 10 minutes to Main Street in Moab, where you can get your fill of the world's most average food! Overall, the front desk staff, housekeeping staff, kitchen staff, and room service staff made our 3 night stay quite pleasant with their attentive and detailed service. The Spring Break family trip saw the Picantes visiting Death Valley National Park.  As a native Californian who enjoys the outdoors, I was a little surprised with myself that I have never visited DVNP before. .. especially considering the amount of time I have spent in the relatively nearby Owens valley over the years.A scan of the area revealed that the desolation of the area is attributable to the fact that there are only a few small desert towns near the park; Pahrump, NV offered the only real multi-options for lodging, and that at about 30 miles from the park.On the recommendation of my brother who has visited Pahrump for several trips to the Front Sight shooting facility, we booked a double queen room at the Holiday Inn.  Check-In was cheerful, and within minutes, we opened to door to find... a single King bed.  Uh oh, not much room for two adults and my three littluns....The same nice lady at the front desk immediately remedied the room and upgraded us to a two-queen suite with a fridge, microwave, and couch that folded out into a bed, too. Amazing sunset view of the Amaragosa range and the snow capped Panamint in the distance--over Pahrump proper, of course.Complimentary hot breakfast was good-- yogurt, fruit, cereal, muffins, and steam trays of omelets and sausage/bacon.  Hot fresh coffee, hot cinnamon rolls, and a pancake machine?  All facilitated by very friendly workers! The hotel has several signs informing guests of "quiet hours" between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.  No loud parties here, and the kids all cooperated for a change, too.Only one constructive criticism:  the flatscreen TV is wall-mounted in such a way that there is no access to the power outlet.  We always bring a computer and an HDMI cable to watch Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. streamed onto the TV... with no nearby outlet, we couldn't do this very easily, and were relegated to Impractical Jokers and whatever was in HBO.  Next time, we will bring a small extension cord, and maybe stack the sofa cushions under the TV so the short HDMI cable can reach! Free parking.  Hot showers. A clean outdoor pool with a functional hot tub?  Air conditioner got meat locker cold with immediate thermostat response!  Proximity to dozens of restaurants, stores, groceries, gas stations, and a couple of casinos, if that's your fancy. Is this heaven?  No, it's Pahrump.  And we will definitely stay here again on our next trip to the desert! More...

From the minute our group of 7 UTV drivers entered the lobby I felt a warm welcome with a very efficient checkin process.  We were impressed with their knowledge of the area and their pride in the amenities offered by their property .  We planned to try out the amazing free breakfast we were told at 7:00 AM.  We were greeted by Dena, a real Moab native, a rare and endangered species.  She ran through all the items on the menu and asked if that would work for us.  Dena appeared to be in charge and and gave us a tour of the food line of fresh fruit, hot and cold cereal, biscuits and gravy and two different kinds of omelettes.  There were links and patties, and a lot more.  She asked if we liked hot cakes and walked us over to the 8th wonder of the world...a dual automatic fresh hot pancake machine.  She pushed the button and within about a minute I had two beautiful pancakes on my plate.  We had an incredible breakfast and figured it saved us over a hundred dollars.   We will be back in the morning  and next month, to see what Dena has cooked up for us. Check in/out is so easy. Came during the winter time so didn't get to check out their pool but they do have a 24hr access to the fitness gym. Continental break fast was so good! They have a wide array of healthy and hefty options: omelet, veggie egg white omelette, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy and a self serve pancake maker. For a complimentary hotel breakfast I'm pretty impressed! It's also nice that they give you granola bars to go if you're gonna go out and about for your day escapades. As far as the rooms. This is a 4.5 review, but it feels an injustice not to round up. They have done a lot with this place! The hotel is fresh off a complete renovation, and it is a better than average accommodation in this dusty, one-horse town.  It is centrally located on the main drag.  The parking is easy, and the look of the hotel is welcoming.  The style is mid-century modern, with the architectural details and orange and greens typical of it.  The carpet is a trompe l'oeil.  When you look down the long hallway, it makes you feel like you are seeing wood.  But it is "planks" of carpet.  The lobby is futuristic, Jetsons style, but grounded in touches of warm hues.  We were greeted by a friendly and professional agent, and check in was a breeze.  We pre-paid the room.  I like that the deposit is only $25.00.  I'm not a fan of any of these deposits that hotels are all doing now--when they have no amenities in the room that amount to that--but at least this deposit is modest.  The card key is just placed on the outside lock (no need to insert), which is up-to-date.  The room is clean, with interesting and functional furniture, like a tripod desk, and reverse tripod dresser, chaise with back, and hanging television.  We had a view of the pool, which is smartly designed and inviting.  The king-sized bed was comfortable, with the most soft linens known to man.  A slightly musty smell was in the room, but this became less noticeable with time (except coming back in the room again after being out).  I think it is probably just the newness of the carpet or the textured wallpaper, both of which look brand new!The tile, wallpaper, and shower go well together in the bathroom.  The toiletries are nice, but not high end.  I like that there was a makeup remover towelette packet (though our housekeeper failed to replace this the next day, and the kleenex, too).  A sufficient number of clean, white towels were there.  The water was hot and plentiful.  I wish our housekeeper was a bit nicer.  She seemed pretty inconvenienced that we were not out of the room a couple times when she wanted to clean.  Despite my apology, she was pretty irritated with us.  We left each day at noon, and it was a weekend, so sleeping in is not that unusual, is it? And she did not sweep up all of the hair on the bathroom floor.  Minor issues.Hilton has an environmental program where, if you forego cleaning your room for at least two nights, you can earn points.  Same with replacing the linens on your bed.  Leave the plastic recycling logo card on your bed, and your linens will be changed.  Leave it anywhere else, and the bed will be made, but with the same linens.  Take heed.  I did not realize this nuance until I was about to leave.Wi-fi is very good, and included.  The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast off the lobby.  I did not partake so I cannot be sure how it is, but the area where it is held is cute and clean.  The room has a keurig for coffee, and tea bags, a mini refrigerator, and a microwave.  The air was great.  Nice and cool. This hotel is a bit pricier than others in town (at approximately $150 a night).  But you are getting good bang for the buck. Room was very clean, bed was comfy. Breakfast in the morning was great, more than expected - with lots of choices. Walk-able to the beach, in a very safe and quiet neighborhood. But where the heart of this review comes from is the AMAZING service we received upon realizing I had left my wedding band on the nightstand. We called (almost 24 hours later!) to ask if it had been turned in, with no luck. After doing a little research, they discovered the head of housekeeping had put my ring in their safe. It's so close to the beach you can smell it in the air. 1/2 block down behind the hotel you can find a beach access sidewalk but the steps are 9 flights down and also 9 up. Get those Fitbit steps in everyone! While we were staying here the hot tub was broken which would have been nice to have after a day of surfing with the kids. The surf can be brutal on a 47-year-old father. Ok, the beds are soft too soft for me I'm a firm bed person. They provide pillows at the request and the morning breakfast is included until 10 am. The AC is excellent and will let you set it all the way down to 68 which is great sleeping temperature. The carpet in the hallway could be cleaner but with all the beach visiting people it would be impossible to keep clean. The water pressure from the shower could be a lot better but it's not like being rained on and you can adjust the shower head pretty easy.
