Great Holiday Inn! Comfy rooms with everything you need - microwave, fridge, coffee machine, iron, hair dryer and free breakfast. Nice updated rooms with super comfortable mattresses. Small gym and outdoor pool (closed for the winter). 5-15 minutes driving distance to terrific restaurants in Page and to all the great sights in the area! You need a car if you are staying here. Must Visit Sightseeing spots all with 15 minutes drive- Guided Sightseer's Tour with Antelope Canyon Navajo Tours ($60 per person)- Horseshoe bend ($10 parking per car)- Glen Canyon Dam OverLook (Free)- Wahweap Overlook (Free)Nice to add spots if you have extra time:- Carl Hayden Visitor Center (Glen Canyon Dam) Free with $5 tours - Big Water Visitor Center (small place to learn about dinosaurs)Breakfast here is better than other holiday inns, but obviously okay compared to a real breakfast spot. For meat eaters you have a few hot options, pancakes, cinnamon rolls - the usual for HIE. The only options for vegetarians who don't eat eggs are cereal and bread . While traveling on business, I found myself at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Pocatello, ID. and... Wow! The Holiday Inn sits atop a hillside looking out over Pocatello. Next to the front desk is a pantry with snacks, drinks, hot & cold meal options and even some toiletries that most travelers are sure to have forgotten to pack. Pass the front desk and lobby, there is a huge lounging area complete with a gaming area with with two XBox Ones. The lounging area hosts the hotel's fantastic complimentary breakfast. Seriously, there were two types of sausage among many other wonderful options. The first floor also has an indoor pool area with a hot tub. Just a few feet down, there is a pretty well stocked workout room. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Next to the sleeping area is a great living room space complete with desk, couch and coffee table. There is even a sliding door that leads to a small balcony with the same great view of Pocatello. I just want to thank the general manager Josh and his staff for a wonderful job they did in providing excellent customer service. My wife and I were traveling to Yellostone when she got sick and we got caught up in a snow storm and we had to stop in a small town named Pocatello Idaho. I have been in quite of few Holiday Inn Express's in the last few months, and by far this hotel in this out of no where town in Idaho has by far been the best hotel I have stayed at. Great hotel with free breakfast and close proximity to both Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon. The rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of parking. There's also free cookies and tea all day :)The only downside is that there aren't a lot of restaurants in the area. Very expensive for a Holiday Inn Express but Page is packed with tourist in August. The hotel was extremely clean. It is part of a group of four budget hotels on the same property. The kiddie pool was amazing! Adults are allowed on the slide. I think my husband had the most fun There is a bar right next to the hotel and we were afraid they'd keep us up all night, but fortunately they took the live music inside around 10pm and we didn't hear them after that! For the best place to eat dinner go to Skunk and Goat Tavern, trust me! Complimentary breakfast was good and widely varied. This holiday inn, is definitely the best I have stayed in to date. It is clean, well maintained and has a seriously awesome pool. It is perfect for rainy day play or just down time with little ones of any age. There is a sitting area on the second floor that looks over the pool and a small gym on the third floor that does as well. The entire building is well maintained and kept clean, which is not always a given. While there was a bit to be desired from a hospitality aspect upon our check in, everyone has off days and the morning staff was courteous and kind. A late check out was no problem! Giving our daughter some pool time prior to check out. I would rate this hotel a 10/10 and we can not wait to return! More...

This is a great hotel especially if you have children traveling with you. The pool is a miniature water park designed for all ages. The hotel itself is clean, has all the necessary amenities. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. We only stayed for one night as we were in town to do a tour of Antelope Canyon, but we were really happy with our stay. Pros:- Very clean, pretty large rooms/bathrooms- Free breakfast which included a decent selection of food, both hot and cold, as well as coffees, juices, fruits, etc. They even had a make your own pancake machine.- Good location - only about a 10-15 min drive to Antelope Canyon and about 20 min drive from Horseshoe Bend- Helpful, friendly staff Cons:- None really but I was in the hotel for less than 24 hours so didn't have too much time to settle in More...

We stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Pocatello a few times a year. This was the first time we stayed in the "family suite". Our grandkids had the best time with the XBOX in their room just for them. Bunkbeds and little chairs and table. Bean bag chair and lights on the wall that they could control and was safe even for my wild ones. Large living room with a balcony and separate bedroom for my husband and myself with a fireplace. Pool open 24hrs, not that the little ones would be swimming that late but nice not to have a time limit. Full size fridge and super sized bathroom. I dunno what makes a Holiday inn an express or not. This one has small pool and fitness center.Breakfast is really a beautiful spread of bacon, sausage, omelette, pastries, they even have a cool pancake machine. Trust me I've been to many Springhill suites, Howard Johnson, but none has breakfast as good as this. Glad my $250/night wasn't that bad. I just hate how the AC in the room is so loud, luckily we can sleep without AC since page isn't that hot. I enjoyed my stay, it was way better than staying at Hilton Phoenix hotel. More...

I Can hardly believe how amazing the rooms were (we had a 2 room suite at VERY good prices). The place was very clean and modern, nice common areas, amazing view. .. but with all that, the MOST AMAZING STAFF!! I've never had such a great experience. The shuttle was busy and the sales manager Amanda gave me a ride in her personal vehicle!! I often stay in more expensive hotels to be sure I get a great nights rest- they generally are quieter and cleaner... but this hotel is as clean, quiet, great amenities, wonderful staff. Interesting. I chose this hotel for a low Thursday night rate as I drive to Ohio. Turns out that it's a popular family vacation destination. They have a mini indoor water park and they're close to the Erie beach. So, tonight and Saturday the room rates more than double! Yikes.My stay was clean and surprisingly quiet since it's right next to I-90. The property is modern and well maintained. Visit: Monday, June 18, 2018This is the only IHG property in the area, and it was available for roughly the same prices as similar hotels nearby, so we booked it. Fairly steep price for a Holiday Inn Express, but all the local hotels are located central to the many sights around Page and Lake Powell, so that's probably how they justify the price. Plus, the nearest towns with lodging are generally over two hours' drive from Page. The front desk was very friendly and helpful at check-in, providing us with maps of the area, and telling us how to avoid street construction in front of the hotel (even though this turned out to be not necessary). We were also able to grab some extra towels and body wash to clean the desert sand off ourselves. The hotel itself is fairly new, and kept pretty clean. The breakfast area always had coffee and some cold drinks available around the clock. My only complain (a minor one) is that the hotel only has one elevator, so there can be a bit of a wait at peak times. Our room was perfectly fine and functional. Everything was clean and worked well. The fact that the mini fridge had a separate freezer compartment was great for freezing the ice packs from our cooler. Air conditioning was cold, which was extremely reassuring in the summer heat. The bathroom came with extra towels, which is great, because this is a destination where visitors may need to shower a second time. The cleaning staff did a good job of making sure the common areas were clean of the copious amounts of dust or lake water that people tracked in. Wifi isn't very fast, but then again this really isn't a business hotel. Breakfast here in the morning was excellent. I'm still blown away that Holiday Inn Express carries Chobani yogurt, which is better that many standalone restaurants. The selection of breakfast items here seemed more extensive and varied than the brand typically offers. The food was continuously refilled, and guests seemed not to attack the food like the hungry vultures that often appear at buffets. The dining area was never too crowded and was kept clean.Had no problems at check-out. Would not hesitate to stay here again. It wasn't necessarily cheap or even a good deal, but it provided us with a comfortable place to stay and eat breakfast the next morning. Most importantly, the central location saved us from having to do any real driving after being outdoors all day. More...

We stayed here one night and I was blown away by not only how nice the hotel was, but also the staff. Such a great experience! Sarah at the front desk was very welcoming and accommodating. We got one of the suites with bunkbeds for our 3 and 4 year old, and they thought it was Christmas. It was such a cute room and the rest of the suite was very spacious. The pool, the other pool, the slide into the pool, the bucket thing in the pool, two side-pools by the main pool. .. gotta lotta watta.Also has rooms for sleeping that are very comfy and if someone sells your room out from under you it's possible you might get upgraded.
