Talking about ambiance! The setting of this restaurant is immaculate. It's the dim lighting which really calms you down. That way you can get an opportunity to eat and enjoy your food. You must make sure that you make a reservation for this place or else you'll have to wait for a while to get in. Once you're in, you can have whatever your heart desires! All of their steaks are to die for. Juicy, tender, and flavorful! The shrimp is battered and the size of my thumb. We go there on Friday nights for the all you can eat fish fry. They have Cod and walleye. They also have all you can eat shrimp on Thursday nights. You get the best rolls that go hand-in-hand with Texas Roadhouse. Very good food. The prime rib is spot on. The cod fish fry doesn't look that special but is cooked and seasoned just right. The broiled cod was cooked perfectly. This is a regular rotation for our family. A bit pricy for Rockford, but the Prime Rib is usually really good, they have an outstanding salad "well" that is a Rockford icon. If you are in town visiting looking for the local flare, this place will be a hit. We had a group of 12 for supper. Had the private room just off the salad bar. Two waitresses, one for each side of the table. Staff is friendly. Thanked us for coming in. Wished us a nice weekend.
