I met Nyameka yesterday when she was fundraising for Hip Hop for Change. Her presentation was clear and real, and of course I support grassroots hip hop, fighting misogyny and racism, and getting local artists a boost in this crazy-old-rich-white-man-dominated world. I don't have much to give, but I love what this organization is doing, so I setup a monthly donation. Please consider donating to support this awesome organization. More...

This is an organization that promotes social progress through a contemporary form of expression. It works against social stigma normally associated with Hip-Hop music and urban living, and promotes education and well-being in today's youth. Excellent mission. Big props.

i've run into your organization in a handful of cities. really impressed today by the reps in livermore, ca who were incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. i'm so inspired by the group who make up this organization for tackling such a huge and ugly system as white supremacy by doing the hard grassroots work and education to create real and sustainable change. what an incredible comfort to know that the future is in the hands of passionate, smart, and motivated young people. Just started donating Friday after meeting a sweet, fierce young man (Collin, sp?) outside my gym. Always liked and followed, but he reminded me why financial support is so important. Bless.

Every Sunday. These guys are saying what needs to be said. Calling out privilege that we take for granted. Listen to this.
