I highly recommend Hillstar Construction! I had water damage and had to remodel my house of course unexpectedly. Lior from Hillstar made this painstaking event in my life easier than I thought it would be. My house was outdated and Lior was the perfect contractor to remodel my house. He gave my house a more modern look than the drab and outdated home I bought. He has an eye for things I did not envision in my house. For example, our house is now an open floor plan by simply removing one wall. Additionally, he suggested redesigning the kitchen and with the removal of the wall and new kitchen design it looks it looks so spacious now. Other things Lior helped us update were the bathrooms. I love our shower tile which was installed with little space between the tiles and less grout shows to make a cleaner look along with glass doors. Even the toilet is modern along with the floating bathroom vanity! There were so many other things he helped update—for instance we have a steamer in our bathroom, recess lighting, the color of the interior paint, door framing, etc. I decided to remodel more things in my house and not just the water damage since Lior coordinated all the work and got all the contractors to complete the job. This was a big plus since I did not have to look for contractors and he organized everything. Lastly, other reasons I highly recommend Hillstar is the quality of the work and Lior put our safety first. There were several things that were unsafe in my house such as structural damage because of termites, but Lior made sure to fix any damage! Hillstar was great! We did a garage conversion and Lior was the best. He helped us plan every detail. He was always available and had great suggestions. He and his crew were very reliable and respectful and they do great work and we are thrilled with the finished product. We made lots of changes to our original design and it was never a problem and when in the middle of the construction on the guesthouse we had a major leak in the main house he took care of that as well. Lior is very personable and has many decades of construction experience. We appreciated his sincere evaluation of our water leaks and he had a dedicated team of friendly workers who were experienced in wall, window, and stucco repair and painting. Any collateral damage caused by the necessary demolition was repaired promptly and the work place was always kept clean and safe. Lior and his crews worked diligently to repair, replace and refurbish our home damaged by a burst pipe in the bathroom. He was helpful, friendly and extremely knowledgeable concerning floors, walls, abatement, plumbing and design. Lior answered all our questions and gave excellent suggestions that improved and upgraded the affected rooms in 2/3 of our house. Knowing that my roof has not been replaced for over 20 years I decided to shop around and find a company that best suited my needs and didn't damage my pocket. A friend recommended me hillstar construction, I called and spoke to a guy named Roye, he was very informative and professional, I made an appointment to have my roof estimated. The project manager Omry showed up on time and made me notice alot of faults in my roof. He gave me a very fair estimate for a complete new roof. We had to remove facial boards and dry route, and recommended Owen's corning cool roof. The guys were really clean and respectful to my home and got everything done in 3 days. My driveway kept getting random cracks on it, so I searched on google for a contractor that could help me. I called Hillstar Construction and Lior came over to give me a quote. He was very informative and knew exactly what he was talking about. He recommended that I get pavers instead because they last longer. He is very professional and helped me pick a beautiful design for my house. My driveway has never looked better! It looks like a million dollars, but it did not cost a lot. I contacted lior from hillstar to make an addition to my home, when he answered he was incredibly professional. He gave me a great estimate and after getting his quote they by far had the most reasonable prices. When they arrived his staff was not only friendly but they were very efficient and worked very clean. Lior was nothing but helpful and easily accessible, whenever I'd call he would immediately answer or respond back right away. Hillstar construction services is the best, save your time and don't call anyone else. Lior and his team are everything you can ask for in someone doing work in your home.
Very easy to get hold of, they returned calls when missed, professional and very reasonably priced. If you have an idea of what you want, they will execute with perfection. If you don't know what you want exactly, they make good recommendations.
Lior and his team recently remodel my house the quality of the work is second to none. My kitchen and bathroom look amazing. The floor came out beautiful.

Many thanks to Hillstar Construction Services for transforming my front yard. Lior and his hard working team have done many demanding jobs at my home .
They have installed a new walkway in front of the house, dug up and removed unused concrete foundations from the back yard, installed a drainage system.
From the moment I met him, I knew I was in great hands. Lior understood our vision, was able to bring it to life, and he was there during the demolition and construction phase and make sure that we were 100% satisfied with the final result. The estimate and construction costs were very clear, no surprises.
I am so satisfied that I keep asking them to do more and have gotten them to do work for friends who are all happy with his work.

Wow Hillstar Construction Services is awesome I am highly impress because they did an excellent job in my home, hire them to replace my front windows, seeing how wonderfully they did it, then I work with them again for my bathroom and kitchen remodel.
Everyone from the kitchen specialist, designer, and men completing the day to day work where professionals and are great to work with. The lines of communication were clear and they dealt with my frequent questions in a friendly and patient manner.

How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
ADUs have been identified by the State as an important housing option for renters and homeowners, given the undersupply of housing. To construct, ADUs typically cost less than other types of housing, largely because they do not necessitate paying for land or purchasing major new infrastructure. As a form of infill development, ADUs (ACCESSORY DWELLING UNIT) provides housing for family members, students, elderly, in-home health care providers, the disabled and others at below market prices within existing neighborhoods. Pursuant to State law, the units cannot be intended for sale separate from the primary residence. Generally speaking, ADUs can take one of three forms:
Detached: Unit is separated from the primary structure
Attached: Unit is attached to the primary structure
Repurposed Existing: Space within a primary residence that is converted into an independent living unit.

Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Firstly, get in touch to arrange a free consultation, once booked in we will come over to your property and provide a free quote and measure up accordingly.
If we are competitive we will then provide optional start dates, then we will arrange a meeting with our in-home architect/ engineer to present to the city of Los Angeles a set of blueprints. After permit has been established.
We will set up a start date usually garage conversion from start to finish between 6 to 8 weeks.

My favorite parts of my last job included the ability to work independently .i enjoy meeting our customers face to face and LISTENING to them. What do they need done? What deadlines exist? What inspired you to start your own business?
I began with a passion for construction when I was 16 years old. I love what I do. I enjoy meeting new clients and dealing with new challenges.
Why should our clients choose you?
Our company gives free estimates on jobs that we can visibly see.Once initial contact has been made, an in-person visit is scheduled. During this visit the ideas a homeowner might have for their project are discussed, we will also offer some suggestions as needed, and begin the process of figuring out what the total cost to do the work will be. A detailed estimate will be provided complete with materials to be used, allowances for some items, expected timeline, and the overall scope of work to be included. Our bidding process is designed to be turn-key. In other words, the price quoted is the price you will pay unless upgrades are requested, changes to the original scope of work are made, or hidden issues not known at time of quote become an issue.
