I am ashamed that it has taken me long to write a review for Kathryn. I started getting regular massages from Kathryn about a year ago to help with my recovery from an accident and now just go for regular maintenance massages. She’s a magician! Kathryn is so knowledgeable about the body and how best to heal a variety of different issues. She is also trained in reiki so I always feel like my vibration has been raised significantly when I leave her office. I’ve had massages all over the world and can honestly say that Kathryn is my favorite, bar none. Kathryn is amazing! I was in my first trimester of pregnancy when I reached out to her in desperation- I was having extremely painful sciatica nerve pain in my hip and back. She was quick to get me in, and was very informative of the type of massage she wanted to do in hopes to release tension my muscles were having. I can confidently say since that one appt I have had almost no trouble and had the best night of sleep in weeks following the massage. BEST MASSAGE EVER! Kathryn is amazing. I stumbled upon her when I was on vacation in Maine. I am a dental hygienist from Chicago and I am starting to get major back problems. Her deep tissue massage was so amazing, I never wanted it to end. After my session she showed me stretches I can do at home and gave me a link to a yoga video that would help me. She also gave me a homemade bath bomb to use at the end of the night to help detox my body.  Such a nice treat!  I promise you will not regret going to see her. It is a much more personal one on one experience that you do not get at most places. You can really tell she loves what she does and has extensive knowledge of the body. I just recently decided for my wife's Birthday I would purchase a Serenity Massage and upon meeting Kathryn and spending some time talking about the services that are offered, I could see the love and dedication that she shows in her work. I decided to try the Aromadome while I was there and what an Experience! I was searching for a genuine massage therapist (not someone who just goes through the motions) who really knows how to diagnose problems and work those areas. I have had many healing sessions with Kathryn. She has an intuitive sense and instinctively addresses problem areas during my massage. Twice I've treated myself to a Himalayan Salt Stone massage, and each time; LOVED every second. I've crossed the line... I'm not sure I can ever go back to a traditional massage. Particularly when the nervous/adrenal system is stressed, I've found it such a help. Hard to articulate, but I liken it to being allowed a reprieve; to just be at equanimity, symptoms at bay, with Kathryn holding space and allowing healing. She is lovely; serene and gracious. Excellent experience. Nice clean facility. Air conditioned if needed though was fine without when I was there. Massage was so good I fell asleep.
