My mother and I took a class when Katie was teaching elsewhere when I was in fifth grade, and I loved it. I am so glad she has her own business now and that I am able to take my puppy and my parents dog to her. My parents Aussie named Skully has done the manners and family fun sports class. Both were great. My dog is a young miniature Aussie and has attended puppy school and now young puppy class. He's already learned so much and I am excited to see how he continues to progress! Cannot recommend Katie and staff enough. More...

My parents have taken their dog named Skully through the manners class and family fun sports class! He also went to puppy day school a few times. I was fortunate to take him to a few of the classes, and really enjoyed them. Now that I have my own puppy I am registered to take the puppy training class. Hoping to take him to puppy socialization hour too here and there. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. More...

We love High Expectations! They do such a great job and our dog and family are reaping the benefits. We have taken manners and excellent manners which really has helped so much with behavior, and now dog sports which is so much fun for our dog and our kids. What a great way to bond and have fun with our dog especially during 2020! More...

Baalo loves his High Expectations trainers. We did virtual training instead of class because of the virus and he was fixated on what they were saying and doing! Way to step up with a solution in this crazy time and thanks for training both me and my pup❣ More...

Great training for puppies! They teach all the fundamentals needed to have a well-behaved dog. Everyone is so helpful and kind!

Have had a great experience. Taken scent detectors, intermediate/advanced, and private training. Would definitely recommend.

We took our puppy to a group training class. Our puppy was definitely the most hyper and distracted one there. This is why we wanted him in training straight away. Trainer watched and witnessed his behavior at each class and also witnessed and watched how stressed and concerned we were. We had to take him out of class so he wasn’t too distracting to the others that also paid to be there. She never once offered advice or recommended more one on one training. We made the decision to not bring our puppy back after the first few classes because we were not getting any guidance and the classes were making things more difficult. By making the decision to not go back, we obviously lost the money spent (which we understood). We didn’t receive any calls from the trainer asking how she could help or anything. Very disappointing. We would not personally recommend her for anyone that has “real concerns” or a more hyper puppy. She tends to only focus on and praise the “average puppy” that doesn’t require any extra work. Definitely not a good fit for us or our dog, who is now doing wonderful now! More...

My Rhodesian Ridgeback, Honey spent two weeks with Katie while I was on vacation in March 2018.. previously we had arranged to have Honey receive training with table manners, car manners, and touch base on sit, come, stay. . Upon my return I was greeted with a dog that now jumps on tables and has trouble staying in the rear seat of my truck and the recurring issue of not listening when she gets excited..Cost $1,300.00 to see ZERO results. I do NOT recommend taking your pets here. More...

I came to katie with a very untrained boarder collie pup, with a lot of energy. Katie helped me teach the dog to come, sit, stay and lay down all in five weeks. I am definitely taking him back for doggie basics. Then hopefully trick class. She knows her stuff. More...

I started with one private in-home session and now we're in puppy class. Even that one session was so helpful to help curb some of my bad (unaware) training habits. I've gotten much better in my consistency and signals and my puppy has learned so much. She never nips at my heels like she did obsessively before. We've also nailed crate training and many other skills and routines that just make life easier together so we can be great companions. Katie really encourages us to be very mindful of what behavior we're rewarding, whether desired/intentional or not. She helped my stress go down while increasing my confidence that I can effectively communicate and teach positive behaviors to Meadow while being patient with her (and myself) throughout the process. Thank you! More...

I did a puppy class with Katie, and she has answers or suggestions for problem behaviors and really focus' s on teaching the right behaviors from the beginning. The smaller sized classes are a real plus, especially for young puppies. Looking forward to the beginning obedience class. More...
