I wanted to take the time to write a review because I was SO happy after leaving my appointment at Hibba. I went to Neelam for my routine Brazilian and I have to say she is the best in the city! I have been to SO MANY different waxing studios and I am extremely particular about my waxes and I can honestly say no one is as fast and precise as her! As far as health and safety concerns go, HIBBA Soho made me feel super safe. Neelam disinfected the room before I went in and was wearing gloves and a mask the whole time. There was contactless payment at the end of my service as well. If you're in need of a hair removal service but anxious about going out in public I recommend you go to Neelam at Hibba!! More...

I've been getting my brows threaded here for years and they've always done an amazing job! I never pick the same person because they' re all great! My friend goes to their midtown location and has had a great experience as well. They are flexible with squeezing me in when I didn't schedule an appointment but they also are honest if they don't have time and don't make you wait forever, which I really appreciate! More...

With frequent travel back to Chicago I hadn't had to swap my waxing spot until this month. While I am so sad to leave my Chicago gal (honestly didn't think I could find someone as great), I thought if I had any shot it would be here in NYC. After being on the lookout for a new spot the last couple wks I came across Hibba. The reviews were very good and after reading a few specifically about Neelam I decided to book. Upon my arrival I was not impressed. I was placed in the first room, basically a part of the waiting area, with what felt like no privacy. I chalked it up to this is New York and space is limited/tight. However, once Neelam came in she put my nerves at ease (because I'm a big waxing baby). She explained what she'd be doing, why she uses the type of wax she does and then got to distracting me with conversation. Wax went smooth, especially since I've been keeping up with it. To get hairs that did not come up with the wax she actually threaded them, which I thought would be uncomfortable but was not. Even though she was incredibly thorough she still had me look to confirm everything was taken care of, which I appreciated! Definitely walked out feeling so fresh and so clean, clean. Walked in off the street when Benefit Brow Bar right next door was unable to accommodate me for a brow threading and tint. I have never had any work done to my brows before - including threading. I've been coming here for 6 years for my Brazilian waxes from Neelam, and I will never go anywhere else again. They are super fast, the least painful that I' ve ever had (and I've had bad ones), and affordable. Also, super clean!! I used to work around the corner, and now my office has moved so I have to take a 20 min subway but I refuse to try someplace new. I used to come to hibba when they we(re located by Columbus circle. I was bummed when they closed down, but I'm so happy that I found this one. I made an appt and was running late and they were really nice about it. When I walked in I was greeted by the receptionist who was really welcoming and sweet. I got a Brazilian was by Angie who was so sweet and kind. It's been a while since I've gotten one so I was a little nervous. She used an aloe Vera wax as my skin is sensitive. She told me about the aloe Vera and  thought it was nice of her to acknowledge my sensitive skin. She was really nice and took her time. After the wax she threaded my ingrowns. She was awesome. I ended up purchasing a package which contains 3 Brazilian waxes for $90 which i think was a really good deal. I also got my eyebrows tinted and the girl that took care of me did an amazing job. I absolutely love this place! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Neelam is the best at what she does!! I' ve been going to her for over 2 years now and she never disappoints. Everything is always clean as a whistle and she even asks if you're happy with her work before leaving you. This place is so hygienic. They use thread to clean up the stray hairs that the wax doesn't grab and toss it afterwards, which is very sanitary and less painful than a tweezer. They also do NOT double dip which is great, because that is gross and I've not found many places in NY that do this. Also, their prices are better than most other wax places. More...

Had eyebrow threading and tint done for $28. Not only was the service very affordable but there was no wait time on a Sunday afternoon and the lady did a great job styling and tinting, very pleased! I was so nervous to try a new stylist after moving to NYC but could not be happier to find a place I can keep coming back to. The colour was perfect too, I have fair features and they're not too dark! Wish they did eyelash tint too! More...
