Had been with HFB for nearly 10 years. What I can say about my experience there is that is has been a steady downward spiral in the area of customer service and communication. I have had previous issues and decided to give them another chance. The company's interest does not lie in existing loyal customers, but prioritizing new business. My service request would go unanswered for months, or it is constant follow up. And when maintenance would be done the majority of the time it was late, wrong or most often not done, again so much follow up. Reaching out for help on the follow was task in itself. Emails go without a response and when you try to address the issue, it was constant blame shifting, just poor managed. The final straw came with a critical adjustment that needed to be made on time. It was something we have done quite often. It was done SO wrong, it cost my company $15k, a nightmare of refunds and a customer service complaints for my company in the span on a week. We reached out several times even to the owner for an explanation or something. STILL NOTHING. We finally made the switch to another company, but HFB made the effort to let us know we would be charged one more month for there "services "as we did not cancel ON TIME. Once we made the switch to the new provider, they did an audit on my website that was managed by HFB for nearly 10 years. It was discovered many critical updates were not completed and what was done was done outside of best practices for security. it was messy. We would caution any business owner to avoid the sales pitch as eventually you won't matter either. They say they offer these other services but you can't get them do what they say the will do. I love these guys. They had my new site up and running in a couple of weeks with a great improvement of layout and functionality. Plus, they could make tweaks on the fly while I was on the phone with Jeff Lee, my rep, so we could see the changes in real time. I have worked with many web designers and developers over the last 20 years and this team by far is the best that I have ever worked with. Josh has developed a great website for our business, helped each month by fielding questions, and has been engaged on helping us find ways to grow our business through social media, facebook, google, and SEO. Any questions that I have a response from Josh comes within 30 minutes through email or a phone call. When I first talked with HFB Technologies about updating my website, I quickly found out that they had already done their research about my job, what I needed and what they could offer me. I felt immediately respected as a customer, our conversations were productive and right on point. Then we started to work on my website with Josh: he is incredibly fast, very creative, knowledgeable (a PhotoShop master!) and super friendly. They assigned Josh Smoody to work with me, and boy am I grateful for that! I can't say enough about his responsiveness, or his helpful can do attitude. He picks up his phone (almost always), or gets back to me ASAP when I reach out to him....which is almost unheard of these days! #AMAZING I can't think of enough words to express how thankful I am for choosing HFB Technologies. It started off with an email that I never usually respond to but for some reason I did. A follow up call from the email was made the following day. I spoke with Logan who took plenty of time to answer all and any question I had and explained to him what my goals were. It was not a sales pitch or anything of that sort when speaking with Logan. He was very honest about what can and would be done. After an agreement was made with Logan he turned me over to Dein who was just as amazing. I was amazed that what in previous experiences with web designers that would take 4-8 months to get things done was pretty much done in a few days. Dein would know exactly what needed to be done and completed the task while on the phone and/or the before the following appointment which was normally less than 24 hours. If I asked to tweek by a millimeter it was done.... you definitely earned a returning customer for future endeavors. OuR E-commerce store looks 100X better than before while still using the same pos. The website is clean and easy to navigate through. Dein spent time with me to make sure I understood every aspect of what was going on.
