Went to Heroes for a going away party for the hubs.Gotta say we weren't too impressed. The best part about Heroes was the casual atmosphere. Our waitress was friendly, but, not very attentive and didn't time the appetizers vs the main meal well. The food was a real bummer. The chips from our appetizer had an awful taste to them and the pasta for my main meal was extremely overdone and gluey. Everyone else's reaction to their meals was "eh, it's okay."I don't recommend Heroes, however, I always encourage others to try places for themselves.Happy eating Yelpers! More...

My husband is obsessed with the Signature B2 Burger! I got the Penne Pasta and it was so good. We advise to go here if you are in the area!

Was intending to go to another restaurant- but they were closed. Down the street was this place. They made me feel welcome - even though I was a stranger from out of state and by myself. The food was amazing! The staff were very friendly as well. Shout out to Camry from the staff who came outside to capture the moment where my son came for a brief visit from the Air Force Base. Went to Heroes today for their chicken wings, ordered parmesan and hot wings. I had a 20 minute wait, so I ordered a Budweiser, unfortunately I missed the 2 for 1 happy hour that sent from 4-6 PM and I arrived at 10 minutes after. I think the beer was 4 or 5 dollars. The place was nicely decorated, the staff was busy and the lonely bartender had his hands full, making the drinks, answering the phone and taking phone orders, plus working the register, but he handled it well. There were about 12 other people in the bar area, a table of 6 with their Chiefs shirts on, 4 of us at the bar, 2 manly men ,sitting at a table, talking about the UFC and every other word was s*** or f***. So, the to go food arrives and off I go. Got home with the 2 dozen chicken wings which were huge, but were tough to bite the meat off the bone and not very tasty , compared to Wing Stop, which we use to go to in Houston, TX. I will be back to try a burger,or other sandwich, but not to impressed with the chicken wings. They are running a chicken wing special on Friday, when the Warrensburg Tigers play football. I had never heard or visited this bar and grill before and was so glad I did. Met my son there before a graduation ceremony and I order the fabulous onion rings (to die for) and the Southwestern Egg Rolls! He got a mushroom burger which he thought was a little burnt. But the appetizers were "fire"!!! Got a beer and they served it in a glass with KC on it. I offered to buy it and, unfortunately, no go. The service was great and no waiting for a table! I will definitely go again and will spread the work in Kansas City about this place for a good day trip! Now I'm on a mission to find somewhere that sells that glassware! More...

Been here twice now and left disappointed both times. $13 for an over cooked hamburger and undercooked wilted, greasy fries. On top of that, both the lemonade and Powerade we had tasted "off". We asked about it and were told there was nothing wrong with their equipment - so buyer beware. More...

Loved this place. Here for another week. Will be getting at least one meal a day for the rest of the week there. Great food. Almost all made in house. Loved all the food! This restaurant was recommended to me by my hotel and overall it wasn't bad, but some aspects were better than others. I started off with buffalo wings which were very good followed up by a BBQ cheeseburger that is served on a pretzel bun. The burger was recommended by the friendly staff and was also very good, but the fries leave something to be desired. You can tell they are fresh-cut but are not crispy which is what I prefer. Since I didn't eat anything all day I opted to try the brownie for dessert after my meal which was the first choice I regret. The brownie was small and tasted bland while being served with two big scoops of vanilla ice cream. I ended up leaving most of it on the plate which was a shame because I love chocolate! While I enjoyed my dinner I do feel it was overpriced for what I got. Not a bad place... 3-3.5 stars due to the friendly staff. More...

Went twice over the past few weeks and have been seriously disappointed. While the service has been pretty good, the food has been subpar at best. After waiting at least 40 min for our food tonight, it was almost all over cooked. My wife got the grilled cheese and the the bread was black around all the edges. I got a burger that could double as a hockey puck with how char'd it was. If you go, get the unknown and nothing else. Find some food elsewhere. More...
