Cristina is a great event planner. She always has been. Knowing her since High School, I could see, as time went by, how she has grown on her ability of putting things and people nicely connected and, through this, delivery memorable moments to all of those that have the joy of being in a celebration that she had been in charge of. Last summer, my former classmates, including Cristina and I, came together for a high school reunion. It was epic, in large part, due to Cristina's amazing planning and organizational skills. She thought of absolutely EVERYTHING! We had a photo booth, goody bags, a slideshow, amazing music, delicious food and dessert, a photographer, and a series of speeches and presentations that all flowed perfectly. What was most amazing is that Cristina was able to pull this off while being relaxed and appeared to truly enjoy herself throughout the reunion. These are qualities that I truly admire, since my experience of planning parties and events usually involves a whole lot of stress, and me running around like a chicken without a head, the day of the event. Cristina managed to get a few of us together to make goody bags on the previous day, which turned into a special pre-reunion reunion, where some of us were able to catch up in a closer setting. This was followed by a well attended dinner, the night before the reunion (also a blast). The day of the reunion, Cristina organized our volunteer committee to set everything up before the event; all while looking cool, relaxed and collected. Many of us, half-jokingly, encouraged her to change careers and become a wedding planner! Very fitting that she did :)! More...
