I could not be more impressed with this place. The staff was the most welcoming and the food left me wanting more. For takeout last Friday night, I decided to call on Hermanos Verdes to bring the goods. The chili verdes is incredible, perfectly tender pork with a smokey green salsa with the right amount of heat. The mexican rice was also crazy good. Great portion sizes, quick and hassle free pickup, and a chef who's a total stud muffin. The only mistake I made was not ordering more! Tried their specialty (pork chile verde with rice, tortillas and salsa) and it was AMAZING. Pork was soft, tender, basically like pulled pork. The chile verde sauce is what makes the dish SUPER delicious. We poured it all over the meat and rice. Portions were good and good value for the quality of food you get. My mother was raised in a very traditional Mexican family. Her mother (my grandma) was a full-time homemaker, only spoke Spanish, and did all the cooking. After ordering 5 plates of the Chile Verde (at a great price), I gave one serving to my mom for an authentic, Mexican opinion. After cleaning her plate, she admitted this was better than the chile verde she grew up eating.
