I've been searching for a therapist for my out of control teen. Came across this business through Yelp and was hesitant to call since there was only one review. I Â reviewed their web page and liked what they offer so I took a chance and scheduled an appointment for my son. I have another child who has received therapy elsewhere so I was able to compare services. I was so impressed with Ms. Wongs attentive manners. Usually with past experiences, the one hour session includes constant note taking from the therapist which cuts actual interaction. Well let me tell you, I was shocked that Ms. Wong did not stop once to take notes! She was attentive enough to try to understand and solve our problem. It only took a couple of sessions when she concluded that it was typical teen issues, something I (a worried mom) needed to hear. The fact that she did not pushed us to continue with services says a lot. She could have easily continue to charge for unnecessary services but she chosed to be honest. Â In a world where honest doctors are hard to find, I feel lucky to have found one. Oh and FYI, my stubborn son who did not want to go to therapy ended up liking his therapist!Highly Recommend!Just one last note: There is no reception area when you arrive to the office. One must enter the office, have a seat and wait till your therapist walks you to their office. More...

Heredia Therapy Group has different therapist who work  at different times of the day/evenings and even weekends. It's great that the group has two locations and they take insurance, including Medical! ! The office is beautifully decorated, has a calming and positive environment. Dr. Heredia is a very patient, kind, and approchable person. She takes time to get to know you, understand your story, makes you feel comfortable immediately, and provides a safe space.
