Hedley and Bennett is one of my favorite brands and Ellen Bennett is such an inspiration to the culinary world, I love her values, her mission and how hard she has worked to create the BEST aprons in the world. Ordered 3 aprons online after seeing them on a cooking show and couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. The embroidery is spot on and the quality of the fabric and the build is great. The best thing though was that after my order I received an email from customer support that one of the aprons I ordered was out of stock. Kinda bummed I coordinated a different one with the support. But when I opened my package I actually did get the one I initially ordered, because the customer service rep managed to find one after all and decided to surprise us. 5 stars, would (and most likely will) order again! I've purchased 2 aprons from H&B and absolutely love them. Not only do they look great but they are amazing quality and have held up beautifully in busy kitchens! I have purchased 3 aprons from HB. The quality is fantastic and the customer service is even better. My last visit to the apron factory was awesome thanks to Crystal. This is a company that really cares about details. And this is really present In their products. But it is even in the customer service as well. When my family purchased the wrong chef coat, the whole process of getting the correct one was fast and easy. Crystal (the happiness deliverer) responded to my email regarding my concerns. Here to share a story:I bake for Floriole Cafe in Chicago IL. I'm constantly scribbling recipes, writing additions, labeling ingredients etc. A sharpie is truly a chefs best friend. Last week, my pocketed sharpie found its way out of its cap and all over my H&B "Big Papa" aka the greatest apron of all time (G.A.O.A.T.). I posted a picture of the tragedy on my Instagram and received a prompt response from the H&B social media team. They immediately got in touch with the materials manager, who sadly confirmed that there was nothing to be done to remove the stain. Rather than give up, they got me in touch with the aptly named "happiness deliverer" Crystal who is mailing a patch to cover up the stain and make my already sweet apron that much sweeter. First things first, BIG shout out to Crystal for helping me with this entire customer service interaction. Absolute professional and incredibly understanding through the entire process. I've been a chef for close to 10 years and I'm currently a sous chef in Chicago. Ive used Hedley&Bennett for sometime now in the professional kitchen and they supply some of the best product out there. I've previously owned 2 other H&B aprons (1 for close to 4 years before I "retired" it and anther that stays home in Connecticut) I have throughly loved and recommended their product to any and everyone who asks where I got my apron. For my birthday this year my girlfriend had bought me a Lazy Bear 2.0 apron to replace the H&B + TrueChefs colab apron I had for the longest time. I instantly fell in love with the color, extra pockets, and material that made up this apron! After a short period of time the apron started to wear more than my previous ones had after the same amount of time owning it. I took a few photos and reached out to Hedley&Bennett about this problem and they were quick to help. They understood that what was happening was not normal, and we're happy to accommodate a replacement. Great customer service and fast response times. When I walked in everyone was busy hustling in their office tree houses, but paused to say 'HI' with big smiles and Whitney happily gave me a tour around the factory. I have bought my grandson a total of 5 Mr. Salt chef jackets. The quality and fit is superb. They wash and dry fantastically, esp using the industrial laundry products he has access to. He accidentally pulled a grommet out of one jacket and ripped a sleeve on jagged shelving on another. Customer service and the repair department not only put a new grommet in, but found a way to repair the sleeve. They look like new jackets. These jackets are not inexpensive.... but you definitely get what you pay for along with a company willing to satisfy the customer with quality repairs and quality customer service. More...

I have been a purchaser of H&B for years and feel that this review is long over due. I am a chef who has worn many of their aprons, of different styles, along with their women's chef coat, Ms. Marlin. Not only are these aprons inspired and whimsical, they take up to the serious beating of a professional kitchen. As someone who works 14, 15, 16 hours a day, Hedley & Bennett offers products that are sensible, well composed and crafted, vivacious and fun. I choose to support this company because of the consistency of their products, but also because H&B honors beliefs that I admire; sourcing materials thoughfully and responsibly, hand craftsmanship, operating in an American facility, owned by one hard working boss lady. Contrast to some of the other reviews posted, I have found H&B customer service to always always be friendly, professional, prompt, and helpful.Hedley & Bennett's one and only downfall, is their insisted, but honorable, use of the USPS. Everything ships ground, so if you're on the east coast like me, your order will take a long time arrive. It can be frustrating, but I think I've become too accustomed to the conveniences of Prime. I only just received my product recently and had a bit of a user error since I ordered the full length apron when I wanted the Bartender style.
