Excellent service, excellent atmosphere, excellent meal, excellent steak. The service was timely and attentive. The atmosphere was great, nice room temp and not loud like many other local restaurants. The meal was well proportioned and high quality. My wife had the 8 oz Filet, I had the 12 oz ribeye. Proprietor David Phillips knows how to cook -healthy! Heav’nly Foods is a great cafe in an old converted barn just one mile from I-30 in Mount Pleasant, Texas. The place is pristine with plenty of parking and an extensive lunch & dinner menu. I just stumbled upon the place this week and I’m glad I did! It is open for lunch from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Saturday and for dinner from 5 to 9 PM on Thursday to Saturday. Closed on Sunday. The food is outstanding! They have many gluten free main courses and deserts as well as Keto diet dishes. All are fabulous! Take outs are welcomed. Not to be outdone only for the healthy crowd, the cafe has salads, soups, steaks, chicken dishes and good old American-style loaded spuds. Besides soft drinks, beer and wine is available. I was pleasantly surprised!! Oh my goodness!! I had the 8 ounce filet... medium well... it was perfect and I could have cut it with a spoon! !! The side salad was chopped with nice greens (not all just iceberg lettuce) and it was fantastic!! My baked potato was quite big and plenty of good stuff on it!!! Try this place!! I told them I would put the word out there!!! Highly recommend this place for steak night with your honey!!!!! And the price is right!!!! Let’s keep them around!! More...

Love this food! We were passing by, saw the reviews & had to stop. As you go in, I loved the atmosphere; very friendly folk. I had the smoked chicken keto bowl & it was the bomb! It had creamed spinach with smoked chicken, onions & mushrooms. The smokiness is well balanced throughout the dish; each bite was so good. My hubby ordered the meatloaf & potatoes. The sauce in the meatloaf was a combination of gravy & tomato. It was very good. As we were waiting for our food, we enjoyed the music & seeing their assortment of delicious desserts. We all really enjoyed our food. The service was very friendly. The ribeye was flavorful (although not very thick). My wife loved the Stewie sandwich and her mom liked the monte cristo a lot. Her dad and niece liked the chicken. The fried pickles were a surprise standout. They were clearly made fresh and hand battered. I was not expecting that at all and was very, very happy. Heav'nly Foods has tons if choices, but also has a "daily menu" for those who want to plan ahead and know their destination ahead of time. The seating arrangement is varied, so all shapes and sizes of diners can be comfortable, the food us often served my the owner, all lending to a cozy feeling of comfort in a joyful setting. 5 stars This place is the place to go to in Mount Pleasant. A peaceful feeling from the time you walk in the door. The food is beautifully presented and is really good. Many choices on the menu plus several healthy choices. This place will not disappoint! This restaurant is a little place in Heaven in Mount Pleasant! If you’re on a Keto diet they also have Keto items to choose from on the menu. The owner is very pleasant and will explain anything on the menu and how it is prepared if you have any questions. First and foremost, this is a Christian based establishment. There are bibles at every table for prayer time before and after. Was to fulfill my New Year's resolution of talking about God everyday. I had the Marshall and it was tasty and lots of food. The potato salad wasn't bad. They give out the same cup for sodas and water which is simple and good.The place is amazing with decor that can only fit in a barn like the giant size license plate Texas size art and wood finishes.They also gave discounts for educators and first responders as well as seniors. Amazing food, service and people. We got there at 830ish, they served us a full meal, wonderful and we got desserts to go cause we were too full sharing an entree. The chicken breasts stuffed with jalapenos and cheese and bacon were delicious, 2 breasts for an entree, grilled asparagus and mashed potatoes! We have used Heav'nly Foods twice for catering our land events we host in the area. Both times the staff, service, and food is 10/10! !! The owners are hands on and so accommodating. The staff is smiling the entire time they're serving and you can tell that everyone is just happy to be there. Not to mention the brisket sandwiches are DELICIOUS!!!!!! Love this place.
