HEAVENLY 7 CLEANING

Arthur, Jeannie, and Demetrius came and cleaned my house today, and I was very pleased with the result. I had never had someone clean before (a friend gave us a Groupon for the cleaning as a baby present), and I was pleasantly surprised by how quick and efficient they were. I was also surprised by how thorough they were--they even cleaned things like the blinds and the molding along the floor/baseboards. Best of all, all three were friendly. Though initially I had trouble connecting with the cleaning service to schedule an appointment, I appreciated that they sent reminder texts two days before and two hours before my scheduled appointment. I have worked with a few of the other cleaning companies in the area and felt like we were being gouged as we have a large home, but don't use all of the bedrooms and most of our basement, only if we have company come into town to stay with us.  The other companies were basing their quotes on using the total square footage of our home and also only willing to give me a quote based on the "job" not the hours and manpower.  I was very spoiled when we lived in CO and had our cleaning people for over 10 years, so this was a shock as I couldn't understand why it would cost us more as the overall cost of living was much higher there.   I also know that it takes more than 1 person to clean a large house and do it thoroughly and Arthur always brings a team of at least 2 and most times 3 and will give us an hourly rate, which I think is very practical given our situation.  I also just tell them exactly what needs to get done by room and they do it.  No one is perfect, but if there is something that does get missed, they are quite willing to take care of it, no questions asked.  I also like to rotate what they do each time, and again they are willing to take specific instructions without hesitation.  The crew is always very friendly and they work efficiently splitting up the areas of the house between them.  They are in and out usually in 3 hours and that works great for our busy schedule.  I know some of the other people had scheduling issues and think they might have put the wrong info into the online system as Arthur always sends out an email confirmation the week before to confirm.  We have not had any issues in scheduling.  If I have a question and leave him a message, he usually calls back within the hour.
