Heather was such a wonderful designer to work with! She helped me every single step of the way. We recently had a consultation with Heather about an additional bedroom and use of space throughout our house. I have followed her Facebook page and have loved her designs so I was hopeful that she could help us work with our 'unique' layout. She did not disappoint! Heather was thorough in getting to know us, our needs and our home then gave open and honest recommendations for us. She wasn't just trying to get business, she acted as an advocate for our family. Heather was amazing to work with! She initially helped with a paint color consultation and it turned into a much larger project! She ended up helping me completely remodel my kitchen and dining room. After interviewing several interior designers, I hired Heather Hannick to help renovate my kitchen and living room. I definitely made the right choice! It was very easy to work with Heather, she was very patient, and her recommendations were extremely helpful. She gently nudged me slightly outside of my comfort zone (i.e., plain off white walls, furniture styles that I've had for 20+ years, etc.) to develop a new look that fits my personal style while also being updated with several "wows". Heather really took my space from blah to beautiful! After downsizing and living in the house during an extensive renovation, I needed HELP bringing the new space together. I kept arranging and rearranging, buying things and returning them, trying to figure out furniture placement in a difficult space, stressing over rug sizes and color options to work with my beautiful turquoise kitchen cabinets...it was just TOO MUCH. (I know this sounds familiar to someone reading this review.) I really wanted a nice eclectic mix of modern and rustic but had no PLAN. Enter Heather Hannick Designs!! Heather listened to my ideas and what I needed for my family and right away came up with a plan. She could just SEE IT in all the ways that I couldn't. Space planning...done!! Furniture...selected...Then she did an amazing job of using some of what I already had while adding some color, style, and a bit of "sass" or bling. We are so pleased with the result. We transitioned from a large two-story “family” home to an “empty-nester” walkout ranch. Heather helped us to update a 1986 kitchen, living area, and master bathroom with a minimum of disruption. Heather is amazing! I started off with one room, then was so impressed I did another and now I'm planning on doing more. She was conscious of our budget when picking out things so I never had to worry that she was sending me pictures of things that wouldn't work. I also needed kid friendly furniture and that was addressed too. I've always decorated myself so it was hard to let it go into someone else's hand but I just didn't have the time. I was afraid an interior designer would cost me an arm and a leg but I'm sure I came out ahead or at least broke even when using her. Huge bonus! There are not enough words to express how much I love Heather’s artistic flair and ability . .I love the fact that she works with what you already have . Heather went out of her way to utilize the pieces I already had and works her magic . I have never used a decorator before but I would highly recommend her.... what I loved the most was that she is such a humble down to earth lovable lady. That evolved into comprehensive design services - color theme, furniture selection, fabric selection, artwork, and accessories. We moved from the Great Room into the dining room, and then into the entry foyer. She custom designed a spectacular entry cabinet/hutch and had it made to order. She transformed my house into my home. Heather has relationships with a multitude of contractors to help with any project. I engaged Heather to both space plan and do interior decorating for a house we were purchasing as part of down sizing. The deal fell through at the very last hour. Heather patiently encouraged me to continue our interior decorating planning as we looked for another home. We did so and boy was she right. We found another house and we were so far ahead on the interior decorating items! Heather shopped all of the fabrics for upholstery, lights, furniture pieces, window and floor coverings. Those were nearly all ready by the time of move in. She advised on paint colors and painting plan. After move in she came for set up and staging. She engaged specialist for lighting installation. I heard about what a fantastic job Heather does for her clients through word of mouth so I decided to hire her for a kitchen remodel. She had creative and unique ideas on how to update the look of the cabinets and flooring and countertops. She designed a whole new schematic that made the kitchen bigger and more user friendly.
