Ive been coming to Eat Right Bucks County for quite a while now, and Kristie has been an amazing help in my journey to become healthier. Even though I was away at college during the school year, she still would do phone calls with me to check in while I'm away and keep me on a roll. For someone that needs that extra motivation for weight loss, she's the one who gives it to me through food suggestions, encouragement, and different strategies to help me make it happen. Would highly recommend! More...

I was quite lucky when I came across Kate's site. This is the most reasonable and helpful site for the FODMAPs protocol. I am sharing her site with everyone I know. I thank you, Kate, for sharing with us. I had done FODMAPs before and got off-line, sidetracked and returned to my previous state of digestive turmoil. No more! 10 days and normal. Enjoying the food hints and alternatives. More...

Although I live far away in DOWNUNDER "Australia" Kate replied to my question re IBS. She is obviously not only an expert in IBS, having suffered herself was this debilitating condition, but also a very kind and compassionate person.

I worked with Kate a number of years ago when I lived in the area. Having suffered from terrible GI issues since I was a baby, the severity increased with age and by my late-20s, they were unbearable. I had seen some of the best doctors in Boston, but it was Kate who essentially “diagnosed” me better than any of them, introduced me to the FODMAP diet, and taught me how to best manage my symptoms. It actually inspired a complete lifestyle change in me since I was now so aware of what I was putting in my body (I’m a bonafide health nut now). I had put on a significant amount of weight during this period (had never really had weight issues throughout my life)— at least in part due to my chronic symptoms — and working with Kate was a huge turning point for me. 5 years later, and about 50 pounds lighter, I still adhere to many basic FODMAP principles. I randomly made a salad recipe the other day that was one of the first ones I got off her blog, and it inspired me to write this little note bc it made me think what a huge part she played in a such a drastic life transformation for me — although I’m sure she has no idea, and may not even remember me (I do look a bit different) . So, thanks, Kate — you’re truly the best of the best! More...
