This is a great club with a helping attitude and an owner that cares about you and your fitness goals. When I first started at the health plex I weighed 300 lbs and my body fat was 40% now I weigh 185 and last time I tested my body fat it was 14% . Also dropped 12 waist sizes from 44 to 32. Five stars isn't enough! If you want a gym where your gym friends ultimately become your 'fit fam', this is the place to be. Staff that truly cares about you as a person and greets you by name with a friendly smile every time you walk in the door. No where else around are you going to find a gym that offers tanning beds, sauna, AND a hot tub to soak after a hard workout. The jacuzzi is great to sit and let the jets work out any kinks or tight muscles. Trainers listen to you as an individual to help you reach your personal goals or address problems you're facing in your fitness. Also available only at Health Plex is the outdoor training area, complete with new, fine grain sand for the new sand volleyball court. Tons of cardio equipment to choose from so you'll always be able to find a machine for your choice of warmup or cardio itself. More free weights than you'll ever be able to know what to do with. And finally another feature exclusive to Health Plex alone, the functional fitness room. Nowhere else in town will you find the open floor plan to push the weighted sled on turf, while others utilize the rest of the open floor space. The owner has welcomely allowed me to throw a softball to keep my arm warm during the winter in the open area. This gym truly has anything and everything you could ever need in a gym. Awesome additions and improvements make it a fun, friendly gym to be in! Always open to suggestions and recommendations so your voice will always be heard.
