I have only been to Healing Wings once, but I had to share my experience. I went to see Lani because I was in terrible pain, and she was available to see me right away. Not only was it the best massage I've ever had - relaxing, just the right pressure, she respected my wishes - but about two hours after I left her studio, I started having the most vicious muscle spasms I've ever had. I was literally crying in the grocery store. I went home and sat in a recliner because the spasms wouldn"t stop. The next morning I woke up and the spasms were gone, and I hadn"t felt that good in a month! I guess the massage had started the "unknotting" process, and the spasms were the sign that they were relaxing and the knots were releasing. It's been a few weeks and I still feel great. Don't tell me that massage doesn't have direct, therapeutic value -- at least it does when you get a massage from Lani! More...
