I saw Joseph for an acute pain problem, and he was able to greatly reduce my pain level with acupuncture. He has studied acupuncture for pain for many years, and I found his technique to be quite effective.

The care I receive at Healing Horizons is an irreplaceable gift!! Over the past year, I have fought a battle with and beat breast cancer, and I truly believe that the care I received from everyone of the practitioners I saw at HH helped me win my battle with flying colors. April and her staff walked beside me while I went through chemo and radiation, and the side-effects of that treament were so much more tolerable because of what HH was able to offer. I started seeing Krissy post-cancer treatments for some other chronic issues, and her efforts and skill have truly minimized my pain level and improved my ability to get moving again. The very best massage I have ever had.  After weeks of physical therapy with pain persisting, I semi reluctantly decided to try an alternative. I have been dealing with some pretty severe anxiety issues for the past year of my life. Due to running my own businesses and a divorce, being a single dad, and several other personal issues. My anxiety had been affecting my business and personal life. I was getting to the point where I did t really want to leave my house, or be around people.I've started acupuncture with Dr Schulte and I already am feeling so much better. A lot of the physical pressure and anxiety I was feeling has been improving significantly and rapidly. We are teaming these efforts up with some of the other treatments offered at Healing Horizons.I'm noticing that about 24 hours after each appointment I'm feeling more and more revitalized and also less stressed. Although I still deal with anxiety and depression I've been able to combat these issues with a much more positive and proactive outlook.Most noticeable is that the physical affects of the anxiety are going away, and not slowly. The heaviness and sluggishness and also the feelings that I can't breath or think or move...all of the negative physical side effects of my anxiety are going away.I'm very thankful for April and her team, and I do believe they care so much about every person that walks through their doors. My husband has Multiple Myeloma and has been receiving treatment from Healing Horizon professionals for the past four years, his diagnosis is chronic and he will never totally be healed from this blood/bone cancer, however we know without a doubt that Dr. S and her awesome team of professionals contribute to his longevity, his overall well-being and my peace of mind. Great experience with April. My first treatment has relieved more of my back and arm pain. I believe completely in acupuncture, homeopathy & alternative medicine.
