HD fitness has been in practice for 42 years. Retired professional dancer, national gymnast, certified personal trainer. We specialize in Mobility and Flexibility training for all ages and all sports a body in motion stays in motion. Our Cheer Tumbling department specializes in one on one training so that the student achieves the trick that is desired All-Star TumblingCoach.

Hank has trained a buddy and I on overall flexibility and strength. Immediately, I saw an improvement in my posture and range of motion while lifting weights and running. In each session, Hank introduced new techniques and movements that were rewardingly challenging and added value to my overall fitness. My athletic performance has definitely improved by attending Hank’s sessions. Hank is extremely knowledgeable on the movements and physiology of the human body. With the improvements I’ve witnessed first hand, I would be remiss if I did not write a review. I've been into sports my entire life. Swimming, soccer, baseball, tae kwon do, dance - I've tried them all and more. Thirty minutes with Hank twice a week has proven to be more effective at building my strength and stamina than anything else I've done in my life. Three two-hour dance classes have nothing on this. Four classes in and I've noticed significant improvements to both strength and stamina. I end each class trembling with exhaustion yet feeling energized, the way only the best workouts manage. Hank used to be a professional gymnast and dancer, and it's evident he knows exactly what the human body can do. He pushes you but listens when you tell him what your limits are. He pays close attention to all his students even in a group class. But best of all? Classes are FUN. I really wasn't expecting class to be so entertaining, but Hank cracks jokes that make you laugh and want to push yourself harder at the same time. I’ve been training with Hank for the last 3 months. Actually 3 friends and I do a group session with him. I like that Hank invited us to an introductory session and got to know our strengths and weaknesses. This helped him customize a workout plan that fits our skill level. They’re challenging but not too far out of reach. I’m already feeling stronger. I’ve gotta say, Hank really kicks my behind with his workouts but I always look forward to the next session! More...

I've been Training with Hank for about 2 weeks and if i told you i have seen results already i would be lying to you and setting you up for disappointment, but what i can say is. i know i will see results and you will aswell. Im only with Hank twice week and i can feel a difference in my muscles every session. Hank has a way of exploring your individual body through the exercises he has you run through even if you are in a group session as i am.. the group im in fluctuates in size from class to class but Hank still has the ability to treat everyone attending as if they are in a private session. He watches, listens and walks about tending to each individuals needs. I can not comment on his individual prices as his Services are included in another Training i take part in, but i wouldn't hesitate to ask if i was you. Because if you are here seeking his services and reading this. you already know you need what hes offering. So what you spend now will save so much later. If i had time to see Hank more than the Twice a week i would.. I also suggest before you see him start increasing your water in take, potassium, sodium/electrolytes.. I drink about a gallon to 2 gallons of water a day plus well over the daily recommended potassium and go to his session already warmed after an hour of training and still feel like im unprepared. If you are looking for someone to help improve your mobility and flexibility, Hank is the one to go to! Ever since I started taking his classes I’ve seen and felt huge improvements on my body! I had a previous injury on my hip and he has helped me get my range of motion and strength back. He breaks down the proper steps that need to be taken so everything is being done safely. Hank’s class is one of a kind and not something you get anywhere else. He is able to help you with your mobility and flexibility while strengthening the body overall. Hank definitely has a way of proving you’re not as mobile or flexible as you thought you were. He is very educated and experienced on the proper techniques to improve the range of motion and strength in parts of the body you might be forgetting about. Henry is an incredible trainer. He is knowledgeable, energetic, and motivating. I am a person that loves to be challenged, and he knows how to squeeze every last drop of sweat out of you! ! Prices are fantastic, the space is awesome (l love the location), and he knows how to challenge you to your utmost potential. My husband and I have been working out with Hank for over 3 months now, and we LOVE it! As "retired" athletes, we found it very difficult to find a solution that motivated us enough to get us back into shape. For me in particular, the idea of finding a gym again was a little intimidating. Not to mention, I'm incredibly particular about my fitness experience. Hank's style of coaching captivated me from the moment we stepped into his studio. He does a fantastic job of working within your limits but also pushing you to be better. I actually get excited about our workouts and look forward to showing up and giving 100%! I especially love his background in dance, because he pays equal attention to stretching and after workout care. I've never felt so much change in my body so quickly. I have known and danced with Hank Dean for over 30 years. Hard to believe because he is so youthful of his body and movement, yet so experienced of the mind and spirit. That's what makes Hank's energy, creativity and technical skills above most. You have to want it and be serious first and then comes the fun from Hank's fantastic personality. Hank and I started working together 6 weeks ago.  I'm middle-aged, severely overweight, somewhat limited and overwhelmed. Here's the deal - Hank met me where I was and we started building from there .  In just a few weeks, I've been able to increase my stamina, stand much taller, burpee, crunch, find a missing ab muscle or two and I have some confidence that this journey can really take me somewhere special.  Hank's sessions are not for the faint at heart.  He subscribes to an active recovery training method.  What that means is that it's gas on the pedal from start to finish and our sessions are finished when I can't go anymore.  So far, that's 30 - 45 minutes.  I sweat and work from start to finish.  I'm 2 inches smaller in the waist, one size down, stronger and I've slept better than I have in a year the last few weeks.  All this - without really changing my diet.  His method has worked for me in a way no other trainer has worked. I've been working out with Hank as my personal trainer for nearly two weeks and I already feel an improvement in myself. Im already standing up taller, climbing stairs without my legs burning or my heart rate spiking, and getting closer to personal strength goals I thought I'd never get back to. I feel stronger and supported in my goals. The bonus is that I have FUN during my workout with Hank. Never thought I'd look forward to working out but I finally do. It's awesome. Hank is encouraging, personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him. If you're nervous about starting a workout plan, working out in public, not being "good enough" to start with a trainer - don't worry about that stuff. (I was worried about all of that.) Hank is an excellent personal trainer. I started with him in January 2018 in terrible physical condition. Weak, overweight, low stamina. In a few short weeks I began to get stronger. I have much more energy now. I even look forward to our training days. I'm losing weight and gaining definition in my arms. Hank motivates me to work harder, even when he's not there. Hank is absolutely AMAZING!!! He does in home gymnastics lessons for my 4 year old daughter who completely adores him and has a blast! Not only does she get the attention to actually learn and progress but her confidence is skyrocketing! I feel so lucky to have found Hank and not only does he provide gymnastics lessons for my daughter, he is also my personal trainer. I've had trainers in the past who I've been so frustrated with, that only bulk me up. Hank is COMPLETELY different! Started out as a gymnast for several years and growing professional also as a professional dancer one thing that I was taught was positivity I was taught by some amazing coaches, which made me want to come back every day to do what I do so that’s what I push into my clients and everyone around me. The secret to getting the body of your dreams is consistency. Human body is not something that you can pay attention to whenever you feel like it. It’s something that you need to pay attention to every day with the surroundings that you have including food movement strength are all good major keys that is needed.

Oh, I have done many of jobs. I was an interior decorator. professional Server. Visual display designer but every time that I’ve had those jobs I was always a personal trainer and a dance teacher on the side to the point where I just shifted and made this my full-time job for 44 years there’s nothing like the joy of a cheerleader when she learns a trick that she’s never achieved or rehabilitating someone to their full capacity of movement when they have been frozen for a while love my job I hope I’m in the industry for another 44 years.

What inspired me to start my own business is I’ve been working for health clubs in this industry for a very long time, and I don’t like the way they treat customers they fill peoples heads with false hope and sends them in a different direction of training. Apps are amazing for fitness, but an app is not going to tell you what your body needs for you.

I don’t believe clients choose me. I do believe we choose each other. It’s 100 times easier for both sides. If we are 100 100 at all times most people do not like the comfort of a gym personal training makes it much easier to be one with your client and no distractions around you so you’re focused on the clients need 100%

I can provide services online, but it takes away from the one on one experience. I really like to be engage with the client at all times.

COVID-19 has put a major stress on the human society. This is why I went to full-time one on one trainings there’s no one else around it’s me and my client. I am also fully vaccinated and I don’t mind wearing a mask if that’s with the client desires.

This is one of my most popular programs. It’s a Flexibility program that helps people that don’t understand how to stretch and stay flexible. Once again, a body in motion stays in motion these services are amazing for golf, soccer, gymnastics dance movement and people of a certain age.

Cheer Tumbling as a retired, national gymnastics coach. I decided that cheerleaders near and far need a TumblingCoach, so that each trick is performed at its highest level. If you look at a gymnast, they never struggle with their tumbling programs as a reason for that I want to bring that program to the Cheer world, one on one services, specializing in back tux, front tux, layouts, layout with a full twist, and all jumps.
