This review is to give added kudos to our Wedding Planner Hazel and her team. My wife and I hired Hazel after seeing how she operated at a friend's destination wedding. This woman was amazing. We also viewed her website , her status on Bark, read through about 5 of her reviews on Bark and her website and was satisfied with all that we researched. Carolyn and I scheduled a consult and was very impressed with her transparency and her expertise in her field. We did not waste anytime hiring her because we had to wait about 3 weeks to schedule an appt because she was booked up. So once we connect we hired her on the spot and our date was available YESS!! We have to say that this young lady knows her stuff we hired her for Full Service Wedding and was completely satisfied, she was the 4 planner we consulted with she was the best. Our wedding was Spanish and Italian mixed, guest list of 475 so we had to have an expert handle our wedding. Hazel and her team was so amazing we only had to take care of our personals ( something we learned from Hazel) and she handled all areas of our wedding, we did not have to worry about anything. She has professional vendors and allowed us to speak with them and we were satisfied, Hazel coordinated everything from Invitations, RSVP, antique car for Carolyn, caterers, decoration ( top of the line) photographers etc. On the day of our wedding the venue was breathtaking, draping, lightning, tall centerpieces, custom menus, I will be here all day if I tell you all how special our wedding was, she gave us the best of the best with everything. If you can afford her services you will not regret her service. Carolyn had a wedding assistant with her on the day of the wedding, just to be there to assist her with anything she needed, and Carolyn said she had never heard or seen this with all the wedding she attended as a bridesmaid. Hazel's assistant stayed with Carolyn until she arrived at the reception and then, a personal assistant was at the reception to serve us our meals. Oh, I forgot our bridal party and parent was given a table manners etiquette session as a bonus because we booked her right away. My review is two months late, but I am here now :-). we wanted something different, and we always dreamed of having our wedding in the Caribbean. Hazel planned our Italian Destination wedding in the Caribbean, and it was absolutely a jaw dropping experience for us. What we love best the fact that she had our best interest at heart and executed in such a manner. She is very detail oriented, brilliant ideas and she made sure that the suppliers and hotel were in sync with each other, and she stayed abreast of every detail, arranging the guest hotel stay, who is allergic to what foods etc. And talk about the perks we received we could not believe we came out on top so much. We have a guest count of 345 and everyone showed up and made this their vacation time, and they all enjoyed the 5/4 and could not believe how beautiful the resort was, the staff, meals, the meet and greet night, the tours that was scheduled. Our guest did not have an issue with their rooms, everything was perfect and ended up much better than we anticipated it to be. Our room was so beautifully decorated we were shocked with all the welcome baskets we received, the balloons, champagne etc. Hazel had it all arranged. We did not want to leave, we had such an incredible time, and we thank Hazel for all that she did creating our wedding so unforgettable. Our guest was pleased that they all decided to make this a wedding/vacation trip and they cannot stop talking about it. We viewed Hazel's website and her IG page, and we loved the simplicity of it, so we booked a consultation on her website. Once we spoke with Hazel and the interest she portrayed about our wedding, we knew we had to have her . She was not available on the date we wanted in September so we changed it so she can accommodate us. Hazel had to plan our wedding because she was kind, thoughtful and we love her Trinidadian accent :-), we had a huge Italian wedding and Hazel, and her team was indescribable. Through the process, we emailed, texted on WhatsApp and all our concerns were addressed within an hour, anything we wanted Hazel was there for us and we loved it, we were very comfortable working with her and her team. Hazel was supportive, honest, patient, smart, very creative, detail oriented and unique with her styling, she was there for us every step of the way, we bothered her a lot, and she never complained, she knew what we wanted and understood our vision for a guest list of 500. What was really unique, I had a personal wedding assistant with me from the start of my wedding day, she was so sweet, anything I needed she was there for me, got us up in the morning, breakfast delivered to the room, made sure all hair stylist and makeup artist showed up on time, checked on our floral, steamed my dress etc, she was SUPER amazing, I loved that she kept us on time with the itinerary. She rode with us to the church and kept us on time. (Just a note for anyone reading this, if you are a late person, heads up Hazel don't do late) they will have you on time, and I loved every minute of it, even the makeup artist and hair stylist was impressed, because they have never seen this strategy before, (did I not say she was unique) :-). Our day was incredible, and everything was perfect, we were so happy that we went with our instinct and hired Hazel, she is one of a kind and we received many compliments, and even though some of the guest knew who she was, there were so many guests that we had the D.J. give her a special introduction and let them know who she was. We would love to thank Hazel and her team for a beautiful execution of our daughter's 15th birthday party. She was incredible and oh the planning was amazing. I wanted the best of the best for my daughter, sparing no expense because she is truly deserving of it, and we hired Hazel after we attended another Qquinceanera and seeing how the ambiance was so flawless and everything was so well done, the place was beautifully decorated, and her team was so on point with everything. My friend chose her for Full Service, and they stated they loved everything and had no stress, so we wanted the same and did not care about the cost, so we hired her at the event.
We are so pleased and thankful with all that she did, and she did, the venue was beautifully done, the timeline was on time, and she made sure the court for my daughter was professional and did their dance with some much emphasis it was just amazing. I am so happy to write this review for Hazel and her team. I started planning my husband's birthday party, and I was stressed out, and a friend told me she attended a function Hazel did and how fabulous it was, so I looked her up, went to her site and schedule a consultation with her, best decision I made, I was very relieved after my consultation with her, she is funny and make you feel so comfortable. I hired her to do everything, the food DJ, the photographer , decorations everything, I thought she was a bit much in cost, but when I saw all the work she had to do and what she brought to the table, I would have spent more than that, just to have her, this woman knows her stuff , the venue was very elegantly done and her ideas and her knack for style is amazing. Have you ever seen couches , pillows , glass table and gold chairs at a party, yes, I had those and the guest love the setup. My husband was shocked when he walked in, he kept touching the details and looking at everything and said he loved, loved everything about his event. All the guest were very impressed and I felt so nice to know that I hired her, and she did an amazing job.
Two of our guest hired her that same evening for events they have coming up, that is how amazing her skills are, Hazel thank you , thank you , thank you, I wish I can give you 100 stars because you deserve so much more than 5 stars. Our baby shower was very high-end, private, and I wanted something out of the norm and Hazel delivered beyond my expectations. This woman is a visionary to the max, the decorations were amazing and her suppliers were very professional, and so creative with the ideas that Hazel came up with. The decoration create such an ambience in the venue that was out of this world, the décor was unique and so soft you would of thought you were attending a wedding when you walked into the room, there were flowers and candelabras everywhere and the ice sculpture so creative, the chairs, glass tables, the couches with pillows in the midst of the room Hazel created a whole new look about Baby showers and it was exactly what we wanted. Our guest was so astonished at the décor they wanted to meet Hazel , she was that exceptional with her abilities. For our daughter Gabriela's Quinceanera we wanted something different and elegant, but had no idea how to move forward with the planning. We knew we needed help to pull this off the right way. Hazel was recommended by one of my co-workers and I ghosted her on my daughter Instagram, I liked what I saw so I finally send an email and scheduled a consultation on her site. I must say that our first meeting was like we knew each other for years , she was warm, inviting and oh so funny. The consultation was very relaxed and her personality sand professionalism sold us right away, we hired Hazel that same day, and we are so happy we did. She was amazing, we had our ideas and Hazel enhanced on those ideas and gave us first class, top of the line event for our daughter. When we first contacted Hazel in January 2021 to decorate for our May wedding, we had no idea that she would become our wedding planner, we thought we had this under control. But the consultation took a turn where she ended up planning the whole wedding, its called Full - Service. We thought we had all the ducks in a row when Hazel asked about the flow of the wedding she wanted to make sure that every end of our event was going to be in sync for execution. We were happy that she asked many questions , may we did not have the answer for, her concern was the other vendors and how they were lined up for their delivery etc. We did not know it took so much to make our wedding happen the right way but Hazel was everything to us when planning our event, she was a blessing and we appreciate her and her team so much for the happiness we shared with our family and friends. Hazel is amazing, she worked with us over a year planning our “All Inclusive Wedding”, we really did not want the stress, since our job keeps us extremely busy, we did not have time for all the details of the wedding in terms of meeting with vendors, RSVPs, timelines, food tasting etc. Hazel took care of everything including reviewing contracts and only had to get our final say. Our wedding was back in September 2021, and Hazel was our Full Service Planner , Designer and our mentor. I say mentor because she guided us with everything pertaining to our wedding because we knew nothing going forward, and we was very overwhelmed trying to plan this ourselves. Living in the Bronx, you know nothing about planning a party, but I wanted a nice bash but did not want to do anything. I had to take my children to a Bar Mitzvah and it was really nice, I asked who did it and my boss introduced me to Hazel B. First, I was shocked that she did a Jewish event, but my boss is a different person all together so he hired Hazel, man this chick was slamming, she did such a great job that I had to get her to do my event. I hooked up with her at the end of the event and she sent me to her site and I booked my consult and the rest was history. This lady did everything for me, it was a Full Service, from Caterers, Photographer, Decorations she did everything all I did was tell her what I wanted and that was it. I felt like a king when my family and my friends showed up at at the hall they were like... WHAT, you went all out man. We were getting married and Hazel Burgan Events came highly recommended. The circle that we are affiliated with caused us to be invited to many events she planned and executed, so we saw first hand how amazing her events were. We called and had a consultation with her, what was really amazing is that we did not have to do anything for our wedding. Hazel and her company handled everything this is called Full- Service Planning, talk about stress saver. OMG!!!! We were elated and very pleased with her professionalism and it was much fun working with her, she had her funny moments but business was something totally different. Cannot wait for our anniversary.
