Our home owner's association hired Darryl Freeman, owner and operator of Hawaiian Property Detailing (HPD), to remove and clean up the spilled white paint from our private concrete / asphalt road in East Oahu. Â HPD's workers were very professional and safety conscious and deployed orange cones and traffic signs all around the work areas to prevent any accidents as they worked for days from sunup to sundown with high powered pressure washers to clean-up and restore our road to its original condition. Truly a professional! Â From the first phone call to leaving the job Darryl kept me informed and showed up on time. Â He and John did an awesome job cleaning the exterior of my house, windows, shed, carport, walkways and driveway. Darryl was very professional from the beginning to the end. Prompt on time for appointments for both the job walk to give an estimate, and to doing the actual work. He clearly explained what was required for the project and also gave other options. Hawaiian Property Detailing cleaned our pool deck in Manoa. Our deck has natural stone pavers. It is very attractive when clean but it had an accumulation of dirt and mildew following nearby construction and a wet winter. They thoroughly cleaned the deck. They also cleaned the pool deck furniture and a pool side lanai. Hawaiian Property Detailing did the whole job. The owner was easy to work with - communicated well. I have a two story house, with a flat roof (not shingled), about 70'L x 30'W, made of rolled sheets of asphalt, fairly low in pitch. There is a layer of ***** **** on the asphalt as a leak preventative, as well as **** on the ***** **** for heat cooling, which can make the surface slippery when wet. Darryl, the business owner, who performed the pressure washing, was very knowledgable and experienced, and had no problem working with my slippery roof - he knew his stuff, and took the time to educate me, explain the process, and answer any questions. He was very courteous, sensitive to the needs of the homeowner, respectful and engaging, just a joy to work with. He is also insured, used a tie down for safety on my two story roof, and did the job with as little inconvenience to the homeowner as possible. He used, not one, but two pressure washers, to make the job go faster. The washers were heavy duty industrial machines, not the store bought ones that you find online or at ****** or **** *****. Thus, he came well equipped to be able to do all types of washing - with more than sufficient power to do the toughest cleans, to "soft washing" with the least amount of wear on my roof and gutters. The job was done FAST! The actual washing on a 2,100sf roof was only about 2 hours, and this included a separate patio roof, about 325sf - plus my gutters, and my sidewalk, about 100sf, where the water from the roof run off drained from the downspout. With the set-up prior, and the clean-up after, the job took less than a half day. I, also, expected the machines to be as loud as when my neighbor did his house, but was pleasantly surprised that the noise factor was very tolerable. My cats actually slept through the whole episode, and my dogs weren't agitated at all. Part of this reason being that Darryl took into consideration where the machines should be set up to have the least noise impact - which I really appreciated. His fees were competitive and actually the lesser of the 3 estimates I got. If you are looking for a skilled professional who cares about his customer needs, then Hawaiian Property Detailing comes highly recommended. More...
