Just a perfect stop on a Christmas Day scenic drive of Anna Marie Island. The burgers were huge , well cooked and on the best bun.

Plenty of outdoor seating and you don't feel like the next table is right up on you. Very 'social-distancing' friendly. Several bike racks for those riding their bikes to dinner. They do orders to go, as well. My daughter loves their kids cheeseburger. The blackened fish tacos were also awesome. Very good selection of draft beer and great service. You can tell their servers have been working there for many years. In the mid afternoons, they have pleasant 'live' music, with a local musician who plays James Taylor, Jim Croce, and similar artist's songs. A great experience and we will be back, for sure. More...

Enjoyed our experience at Harry's. Waited about 45 minutes for a table and opted to eat inside. They had live music outside and we regretted our decision because the musicians were very good. Food was a mixed bag. The cheese sticks were just okay but the amazing burgers made up for it! They were 1/2 pounders seasoned and cooked perfectly. My bacon cheeseburger was to die for! My son loved his as well. My other son got the chicken tenders and they were good as well. My wife got the chicken po-boy and enjoyed it. My friend got the pulled pork and it was piled high. weird experience to say the least. we made a reservation for 7:30, then called back a second time to move it up to 7. the lady on the phone wasn't friendly but we didn't think much of it. when we got there at 6:50 though, there was no reservation. after calling twice? fine, it happens. we waited about 20 minutes and got seated. our service from there never got better. the food was subpar. the atmosphere was whatever. at the end of our meal the waitress leaned over me and got some sauce in my hair. she didn't acknowledge it, even when i said "oops! you got some in my hair!"below average experience. would not go back.* before you eat here make sure you read how the owner Mark replies to his unhappy customers, then decide if this is where you want to spend $15 on a burger * More...

We ate here three times this month. We did take out one night, stopped in for live music drinks and appetizers another night, and enjoyed dinner and live music the last night. The hamburgers in our take out order were "ok" and we enjoyed the onion rings. They are different from onion rings at most establishments as they are much thicker and have harder/thicker breading on them. Sitting outside for drinks and appetizers with music was nice, but we were attacked by "no-see'ums" and mosquitoes, so we decided to only eat inside from now on. Our last visit, we enjoyed fried fish of the day and the Mississippi platter. We were very happy with those options. Great hamburger special of the day. Excellent excellent. Do you want to eat shrimp or huge a dozen or more. Burger came with slaw oh and we also had the fried okra. Their outside sitting is great. Right up my alley for sure. They did a beer flight for me and were VERY kind about talking me through what they have on tap. A lot of area brews to try which was very nice. My wife said it is the best burger she has ever had. And she loves burgers. I tried it and I agree that it was awesome. It was served hot and stayed warm and was just super delicious. Make sure someone orders a burger!!The mahi mahi tacos were good. Make sure to order a side of the mango salsa! Everything is made in their kitchen. We had their bbq pork and that was also very unique. You could tell it was fresh and original. The shrimp palooza was also great. Staff don't wear mask and make excuses for why. Most businesses on AMI have embraced masks and feel very safe.  This was odd here. Get a curbside order. I got this response to my review from the owner:Sorry you are unhappy with the guidelines. Our Governor has issued the Phase 3  reopening, indicating less strict guidelines. Masks are extremely restrictive from a respiratory standpoint and are  voluntary. If you wish to wear one we will not  question your choice. Stay safe More...

I wanted to love this place but unfortunately I was disappointed.  The weather wasn't cooperating so we decided to dine indoors.  The air conditioning wasn't working properly and they had fans sitting on chairs trying to circulate the hot air.  We came for the "famous" burgers which had good flavor but the tomato wasn't ripe and had a weird mushy texture; the shrimp wrapped with bacon appetizer was awful; small shrimp & undercooked bacon.  Good selection of tap beers.  Our bill for three was close to $100.  Definitely not worth it.  Sorry Harry's I know you have history here in AMI but this time you didn't meet the standard. Awesome little spot on Anna Maria Island. Awarded best burger and I see why! Had the Half pound bacon cheese burger and it thus far exceeded my expectations, Wow! Excellent meat quality. We went Tuesday night, mostly to hear Mike Sales sing, as we hadn’t been to Harry’s in a few years. We had a great table outside, wonderful food served by a very pleasant and attentive waitress, and spent two delightful hours just dining and relaxing. Update: the burger was even better today, the fact that they use Ciabatta bread is glorious. The owner reach out after the comment and I truly appreciate that so there goes the missing star :) Have been looking at where to eat a decent burger in the island that didn't close too early. Ended up coming here and ordered the Smokehouse Cheeseburger, the pulled pork was really good and so was the burger itself. The cole slaw has tangy flavor to it because it's pickled and it was amazing, the only thing I didn't really like and where I am taking one star was the potato salad, didn't have much flavor. We were earnestly trying to support the restaurant industry the first week in May, but it seems they were all struggling in a way to make it a positive experience.  Harry's was definitely the most popular eating spot (measured by crowds, people activity) the week we were there. We could not get through by phone (rang busy) so showed up to order.  I asked for pulled pork sandwich.  "Sorry, out of pulled pork".  So I switched to grilled chicken. "Sorry, we don't have any chicken".  So I switched to a burger, choosing the mushroom swiss for $14.  Later I learned they failed to tell me the night's special was the cheeseburger at $8. My friend ordered the reuben.  They said the wait would be 15 minutes.  The wait was 35 minutes.  Once we had our food, both meals were delicious. The burger was very "wet" and fell apart as one ate it but tasty.  If we lived here we'd eat here often and learn to relax with the "island time" issues. More...
