I cannot say enough positive things about this car service. I called 4 days before my flight to get a quote and they made the process so easy. Two days later they sent me a follow up with text. I confirmed and paid for the ride upfront. They have a flat rate to JFK including tip and tolls...again...they made it easy.  The night before the flight I received a confirmation email with my driver's name and cell number. On the morning of the flight, they texted to say the driver was in his way..and they even included a photo of the driver. Then another text and email to say the driver arrived. It is their policy to arrive 10-15 minutes early. Finally, I received an email with my paid receipt. The entire process took absolutely no effort on my part. I cannot say enough about this service.  I was on my way, from Yonkers, to pick up my daughter at JFK.  My car's 'check engine' light came on and the car was definitely not driving right. It was after 7pm, so my mechanic and car rentals were closed. Luckily I found Harrison's in my search on my phone.  I am so glad. From the first call, to the multiple texts from the office (Brenden)confirming our details and our driver, Jeff, they were wonderful. My daughter's plane was delayed and it happened to be during a thunderstorm. But the office and the driver were in contact with me the whole time. So I had no doubt that they would wait for her and bring her home safely.  Their service is not cheap. I use Harrison Car Service to go back and forth to LGA Airport two or three times per year and have never had a problem with them. As one who was in the car service business at one time can appreciate good service starting with the ease of making the reservation online to the notice that the driver is on his way to the clean cars and polite drivers. This last trip was from LGA, American Airlines, where our driver, Jeff, made the pickup so easy by texting me to call him as soon as we got to our location which I did and he was there within three minutes picking us up. I used Harrison Car Service for an airport pick-up in Paris. The reservation was executed flawlessly. The driver met me and my wife the minute we walked out of baggage claim. He was professionally dressed and holding an iPad with our names. His Mercedes was waiting right out side the door at the curb. Car was clean and had the added benefit of reclining seats in the back. In was a pleasure to travel to a foreign country knowing exactly how much I was going to pay for a fast, comfortable and reliable ride to my hotel. I cannot check in as the service HQs are a good distance away.But we have used Harrison Car for more than a dozen trips to and from the NYC area airports over the last two years. This is noteworthy, as we had been a customer of the same service from 1991 to 2014 - when Leros, the heavyweight in the local market, and the acquirer of L&J Limo in 2010 definitively demonstrated they could not care less about their customers. Back to Harrison. They have made reservation a snap, offering on line, a smartphone app or traditional call in options. Unlike that other big company service that has zero personality and is focused on completing the reservation in the fewest seconds possible, with Harrison you can enjoy a brief conversation with another human. The Town cars are clean, smoke free and on time for pickups at our home, and they keep in constant touch throughout dispatch of driver, arrival on site AND a pic, name and phone contact direct to the driver.Unlike Leros, they charge for actual tolls rather than the maximum possible, there is no fuel surcharge, and while pricing is high compared to your local "taxi" service, we are totally pleased with the people and the process. I should be waking up in the JFK airport waiting for a super early ride but because of Harrison Car Service, I've had some sleep in a comfy bed and I'm sipping coffee in my son's apartment. It's hard to figure out which service to book on these sights but I am so glad I picked Harrison Car Service. Due to bad NYC weather, 6 hour delay for departure from SLC, another hour delay on the plane at the gate prior to take-off, diverted to Detroit, re-boarded and finally arriving at JFK at 3am, this service was still there waiting for me. Bruce, at dispatch central, kept me up to date with emails, texts and phone calls with changing driver pick-up information. Jeffrey, my driver, was a knight in shining armor with his clean SUV and refreshing 5-star customer service. Don't think twice about these guys. Excellent car service. They were prompt, the vehicle was clean, the driver was quick and safe, and he knew where he was going. Even the guy who answered the phone when you call to reserve (Jude) was friendly, efficient and competent. After you book, they send an email confirmation that lays out exactly what the price break down is. Using these guys is not exactly cheap; I'd actually say it's in the mid to slightly above average price range when compared with other local companies. However, the price is worth it for the experience in my opinion. Also, I did better with them price-wise than I did with Uber going from mid-Westchester to UWS. More...

I couldn't be happier with the excellent, professional, and super friendly driver at Harrison!  I was kept up-to-date via text with driver's name, ETA (which was super prompt! ) and felt safe and completely stress free going to the airport and being picked up.  Cars are comfortable and clean.  While the price was more than I originally wanted to spend, I'm glad I did!!! Used these guys for a recent Westchester - LGA airport trip when our usual service didn't have last minute availability. Very professional, friendly on the phone. Price was about average. Great communication via e-mail. Driver was right on time. Drove safely and reasonably, and got me to the airport in the usual amount of time. Driver was friendly but quiet, which was appreciated on this 6am run (I'm not a morning person!). So overall, solid job. I take off one star only because of the vehicle - it was an older model car, clean but brake rotors were clearly badly warped, whenever he hit the brakes, the thing pulsed like crazy. Sounds like a minor gripe, but I'm a car guy, and this is a basic maintenance issue (I mean really, it's like a 30 minute job to swap some brake rotors) so it makes me wonder what other maintenance issues they're skimping on. Again, probably a very minor issue, but it's worthy of a star in my book. More...

This is by far the best taxi service I've ever used. We live in Mamaroneck, NY, and our local taxi companies and their drivers  have been, over the years that we've used them, consistently late (or not showing up at all), crowded with other passengers, and rude. I wish I had known about Harrison Car Service sooner.I used them this past week for trips to and from LaGuardia Airport from our home (I was away for a business trip). I booked online, avoiding any phone conversation errors, and got back detailed confirmations with pick up times and locations and a detailed price quote. I was able to pay online, avoiding the hassle and time of paying the driver each way in the car. Before each pickup, they sent me a text and an email with the name and phone number of my driver, and for the return trip, they also included a photo of my driver (!) so I would be able to find him more easily at the airport. My flight home arrived about 45 minutes early, and I already had a text waiting for me when I landed saying they were there early to pick me up. First rate service.  Very reliable and relieve a lot of stress.Discovered Harrison Car Service during a family emergency while in the NY area.  They were able to take a lot of stress off of our family in terms of picking people up from the airport and getting them where they needed to be.  We used them again to pick someone up in the NY area during another family event.  Turns out the weather was bad and the flights were delayed.  But no worries, they monitor flights, and take care of everything.  The customer service on the phone is wonderful, friendly and re-assuring that all is going to be ok. Found Harrison Car Service via Yelp when I was visiting the area for a wedding and needed transportation to JFK for an early flight after the event. The booking process was very easy over both e-mail and phone. I found the office staff to be very courteous and helpful in organizing the vehicle I needed for our group.The driver showed up early, and had a large, clean and modern SUV -- exactly what was requested. I began using Harrison car service about two years ago after using my local taxi service for airport rides for a number of years and I couldn't put up with the filthy, flimsy cars they were showing up in.  The Harrison drivers are always on time and very professional.  The drivers, for the most part, talk as much as you like or not at all - they tend to let you dictate the conversation (which I love).The cars are always very well appointed, clean and plenty of heat/AC.The price is definitely more than the local taxi company but it is well worth the extra money for the comfort and peace of mine.  Only MINOR issue I had is one time I had an early morning pick up and they tacked on an extra "early pick up fee" that was not explained to me at the time of booking - after I called to inquire they were very apologetic (though they did not remove the fee).I will definitely use them again for my next trip to the aiport. We used Harrison Car Service to drive us to and from the airport. We have 2 young children and they were able to provide boosters for the ride.  The drivers were nice and on time, actually early for our 7:30 am pickup.  Our flight was an hour late coming in and our driver was calling me to make sure I knew where to find him easily.  I would use them again in a heartbeat, and recommend them to anyone who is looking for a car service.
