Day training
In day training I teach your dog life skills, and do socialization and enrichment exercises with your dog; and, then transfer those skills, along with management strategies, to you. Sessions run between 30 minutes and 3 hours going until your dog indicates she is done. After sessions it is important to let your dog sleep to consolidate the lessons. Day training is comparable to a board and train except your dog stays at home.
Day training is ideal when you are frustrated and need relief fast; if you feel overwhelmed; if your dog is an adolescent or high energy and you want to address mental and physical exercise; if you don’t have time; or, if you need a bit of distance from your dog issues.
I love day training because results are based more on my expertise and skill than your learning curve.
Private coaching
In private coaching, I coach you how to train your dog and support you while you do most of the hands on training work.
Coaching is great if you are curious about how and why, you want to do most of the hands on work yourself; and, you are able to be patient and gentle with yourself and your dog as you learn together.
