happy maids

Happy Maids has been cleaning my house for 19 years.  Note: the owner's name is NELZA not Nina. I think some people on this page are very confused; they may have been dealing with another company.  Google Happy maids and you will find other companies with the same name, not in Alief. They do a great job, if I want something redone it is offered with a smile. I do not have to worry about social security taxes.  A cleaning service is not your mother or your great grandmother; they don't get down on the floor with a toothbrush.  If you want that I'm not sure it is available. People need to understand they do what is on the list. The ladies and gentlemen have always been nice and affable and Nelza understands what it takes to clean certain substances that I don't understand.  I treat anyone who works in my house with the dignity that I would want if I were in their position.  Some people are wretched in how they deal with in home workers.  Everyone is vetted.  My house is clean and I am happy to come home to it.  My puppy even likes their workers and he doesn't like a lot of people.  Nothing has ever been stolen and I have had my jewelry and some cash out. I recently used Happy Maid Service to clean an apartment I moved out of. They conveniently signed me up for the "empty house cleaning" and I was highly impressed with everything. It was storming but that didn't keep them from arriving early and getting right to work (I was glad because I took off work to get this done).... They sent a team of 4, which cut the time down from what I had anticipated (only 1 hour!) and they were very quick and efficient.  The ONE complaint I have is that they did not inform me of their new customer policy, which is to pay upfront. I opted to pay cash and was about $40 short so I needed to run to the bank. Within 15 minutes whoever the director was called me about 4 times to ask if I was coming back and threaten that the crew would leave if I don't return quickly. I was HIGHLY put off by that, but the crew did a good job so it ended on a good note. I would recommend this service and will likely work with them again. More...
