We were super excited to experience this place! Pinewood Studios purchased the school across the street and converted it into offices and lo and behold, turned the school cafeteria into a quasi fine dining Buffet experience. They definitely did the best they could with the decor but you cannot disguise the brick surrounding the bathrooms. We made a reservation, stood in line to pay, and at the time they asked us to go ahead and put down a tip, which we did. The hostess that sat us was super friendly, very informative, and gave us instructions on how to proceed to the buffet. The buffet area was basically where the cafeteria line would be for the school and there were wonderful things to choose from. They had a station at the end where a chef would give you a wooden bowl full of crab legs and a bit of crab boil. Right outside the buffet line was a drink and condiment station that was self serve. All in all the food was really good the only reason I'm giving it a 4-star is that when we gave our tip at the beginning we anticipated servers would come to our table and no one approached us for any reason except at the very end a nice guy picks up our discarded plates from our table. My suggestion would be to withhold your tip until the end so that you can tip the servers that are worthy of it. It's definitely worth going back. More...

I was so pleasantly surprised with the setup of this Buffet at the studio Cafe. I went on a Friday for lunch and I was not disappointed. The selection was plentiful and the service was timely and on point. Great place to come grab lunch sit and talk and not feel rushed unless you show up at 1 cuz they close at 2 p.m. there's a little something for everybody and as a bonus they actually do special buffets on the weekend for special occasions like Mother's Day but you must have a reservation so don't pop in there thinking you just going to walk up in there and eat without a reservation. 05-11-2019. I took my wife and family for an early Mother's Day dinner. My advice is to make a reservation. We arrived about 30 minutes early. We got in line and were seated in a booth, right beside the piano player. The music was pleasant. The ambiance was so simple and pleasant.The buffet was amazing. The most amazing place to eat anywhere South of Atlanta. We were lucky enough to get a reservation for 12 and everyone stated it was the best meal they have had. Went here for Easter brunch. The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. I appreciate the wait staff was not overbearing, but came by just enough to make sure we never had an empty glass or dirty plate on the table. I was impressed with the variety between breakfast and lunch foods available. I loved the eggs benedict and fresh waffles best. They also had 2 carving stations & an omelet station. I don't usually like buffet style dining, because no one watches the food and food tends to stay on the buffet too long and becomes dried out. That was not the case at the Hanna Bros restaurant. The food was AWESOME and fresh. I loved the buffet. The macaroni and cheese is out of this world! Every thing is made from scratch. We went on a Friday for lunch.
